Workout IEM: NE-6, M6, or M11?
I think I may just go ahead with the M11. I just noticed the NE-6 brochure picture on the NuForce site, and that thing sticks out of the ear like nobody's business! Nuforce.com | NE-6 (scroll down) And then, with the memory wire and asymmetric design of the M6, it looks like the M11 has...- archimeaties

Workout IEM: NE-6, M6, or M11?
I've read joker's and ClieOS' reviews, as well as other workout iem threads which all narrowed it down to these three, but I'm still not clear on how they compare to each other. I want really good isolation, lush and as balanced and detailed as possible SQ, comfort, and durability. I'll be...- archimeaties

Can anyone recommend an iem like the re0 but with more bass response?
I am also interested in this. I've been looking at the Hippo VB and Fischer Audio Eterna as alternatives... How about the RE2 w/ FiiO E5?? it's darn cheap at head-direct! (I'm asking this, not proposing...) EDIT: Oops, nvm, RE2 lack bass too...- archimeaties

http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f4/las...00-cad-459014/ resulting in HD448 I'm assuming you're in Oregon, so Canadian price problems aren't an issue... In which case M50 might be better...- archimeaties

I bet you've already seen my similar threads, but if not, you should check them out. I finally decided on the HD448 because it and the SRH440 were the only top options I could get in Canada for ~$100, and the HD448 have a nice short portable 1.2m cable. They are a little hard to drive...- archimeaties

Last try: does anything beat SRH440 for closed-back circums <$100 CAD?
Thanks Eric. I don't think 90%-95% for high volume is really that bad... I don't want to go deaf after all. I guess that means one less con for the 448s! I'm finding the differences between these models pretty trivial. Looking at the remaining cons, I think the short and light cable on the...- archimeaties

The dilemma: EDIT: I'm going to make this a little bit more decisive by phrasing everything as a con Shure SRH440 ($100 CAD) cons: bigger and heavier design big long cable Sennheiser HD448 ($105 CAD) cons: doesn't fold-up can't buy locally EDIT: just removed SRH840s and M50s...- archimeaties

I swear, this forum is poison!! I'll never decide!!! Thanks for the help Priest I'll keep an eye (ear) out for some HD448s, but the SRH440s, SRH840s, and M50s are also tugging my sleeve... (not to mention iems...) EDIT: Oh no! violeta and others say it needs an amp for ipod use. I...- archimeaties
