If you want good SQ go with the Focal Bathys. If noise cancelling is you main Priority nothing beats Bose for noise cancelling. But having owned both I have away my Bose the Bathys walks all over it for SQ with good noise cancelling.

True I like the LCD-4 & 4Z better than the LCD-5

That’s what I was hoping you had. I only use the Rooms stands. Was looking for the one for 1266. But Rooms stand are adjustable if you have the metal ones. Which ones you have?

I find the Hifiman Headphones do better with Hybrid cables. You get the best from both worlds.

I can agree with this. I used the Chord Hugo TT2/M-Scaler combo with the Riviera with great results. But when I finally bit the bullet and upgraded to the Playback Designs MPD-8. It was a huge step up. Truly Endgame Status.
