Most "Fun" IEM at $100 and at $200
Hey Everyone, So I've been out of the audio scene for a while and am finally looking to pick up some good iems again. Right now I've got a pair of Massdrop X Noble that I enjoy but may be passing on/giving to a good friend as a great intro to better quality gear. This means I'm looking for some...- SolidSnake3

Closed Headphones Advice?
I've owned the m50's in the past and found that I just couldn't get a good fit with them. Too tight and just rubbed my ears wrong. The Beyers I've owned in the past were very comfy so no worries on that for the DT770's- SolidSnake3

Hey Joker, Just wanted to let you know that I got a pair of the HiFiMan RE262's as a replacement for my defective Sunrise Xcape IE's and so far I have been loving them. The sound is just enjoyable and relaxing. I don't think about the fact that I'm wearing IEM's or listening to music. I...- SolidSnake3

Quote: Really great description of the CK10's. I found your comment about the CK10's dissecting the music to be spot on, that is precisely how I heard them. They allowed you to analyze your music to a degree I have never experienced before or since. Now granted this wasn't the most musical...- SolidSnake3

Pen-Fi (FPs, RBs, BPs, etc...) [56k Warning]

I know when I went to buy refills that the standard refill cartridge looked to be slightly different in size than the actual Lamy brand one's for fountain pens. Quote: Care to elaborate on the build issues? Nothing was mentioned in his review of the Xcape v1 in the multi-iem review thread so I'm curious as to what issues your talking about. Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread
I paid $300 even for my Senn HD600's a little over a year ago and have never questioned the purchase. Sony MDR-EX600: Impressions Thread
Oh man mistake, didn't even think about beat audio to be honest. Haven't really heard or seen much of their stuff before so they didn't even enter my mind when thinking of custom cable company's and if they make something for the EX600.- SolidSnake3

Sony MDR-EX600: Impressions Thread
I'm pretty sure a replacement cable would have to be custom made because of the quite unusual screwing lock mechanism the Sony's use for their replaceable cables. I haven't seen a cable on an iem use this type of lock ever before so it might be tough/impossible to find a mass produced replacement.- SolidSnake3
