Meier Corda CLASSIC: Impressions!!
I currently own the Meier Corda Arietta and I like it sound. I see the Classic has some nice features, I was wondering about some other differences, I assume for one the Classic has more power. I may purchase Alpha Primes would either of the two amps work well the Primes? Thanks Bob- bobaroo

New MEIER AUDIO headphone amp "CORDA CLASSIC"
Does anyone have thoughts as to how the Classic would perform with Mr Speakers Alpha prime? I currently own the Meier Corda Arietta and was told it might not have quite enough power. I assumed the classic has more power. Thanks Bob- bobaroo

listening perspective
I am fairly new to serious headphone listening so please bear with me. I like closed headphones(don't know if that matters here), when I am listening I feel as if the music is on top of my head or that I am in middle of the music or both. This is opposed to when listening to speakers that I...- bobaroo

Looking for closed headphones
I 'm looking for closed as well Pathway said "Yamaha MT220 (and they fit me much better as well)" I am curious about the inner ear pad opening size, I used to have AKG 271's, they were a wee bit small for me not too bad but velour pads helped Thanks Bob- bobaroo

MrSpeakers Alpha PRIME: Impressions and Discussion Thread
Hello, thinking about using the Primes with Meier Corda Airetta, I listen to classical and like large orchestral. Also is the fit of the Primes a non-issue for most people? Thanks Bob- bobaroo

Classical music headphone.
I listen to classical classical era to early romantic, currently using akg 271 but am interested in the new senheiser momentum. My amp is a corda arietta and I only listen to cds via arcam fmjcd23. Any suggestions for another closed unit with good ambient noise damping?- bobaroo

Ear Care
Good information. The tinnitus can lessen, I worked in noisy environments in the past and at times did not use hearing protection. When I saw a audiologist he said my loss was about normal for someone my age (52). I asked him about my mother who noticed tinnitus when she was about 45 (she had...- bobaroo

Thanks as well, I tried calling Frank Rodriguez at AKG (Harman) in Calif., but got voice mail and no return call, I'll try again next week, maybe he is on vacation. Does anyone know of dealers that stock these? Bob- bobaroo

Akg 271 or 701
Ok, If I decide to go with open phones and listen at normal levels, should I hear much ambient noise such as people talking and such?(this would be in my home). Also, if I decide against the 701 and cannot find the 501, what is the next best choice for classical? Thanks Bob- bobaroo

Akg 271 or 701
I am trying to decide between these two headphones; Akg k271 Akg k701 I realize that the 271 are a studio ‘closed’ and the 701 ‘open’. They both seem to have good tonal qualities and comfort from what I can find. I would probably save about $100.00 going with the 271’s. I will be using a...- bobaroo
