I want to try a tube amp for my LCD-4. Does anyone have any recommendations? Am I correct in thinking the 300B is best for the LCD-4? The Cayin is at the upper end of my budget tho.

Hi @Shanling I've installed FW 2.4 but am now having problems. You've fixed the Tidal app fault of it not showing more than 1 page of saved Artists but it now crashes on that list. Also, when I enter 'Albums' and open one to play a track, the track list is empty and the 'Play All' button does...

@Shanling why does the Tidal app only display one page of my favourites?? Can this be fixed by you? It only displays the latest 10 or so favourite Artist that I’ve saved.

Using the Shanling USB-C to Micro USB cable. Works perfectly. A note on that, the Fiio m6 didn't deactivate the volume control when sending USB digital via Tidal. This M2X does!! Looks like there's no silly post processing after the Tidal app. Big thumbs up for me.

It's really not that slow. Certainly no slower than other non-android DAPs including the Fiio m6, iBasso DX120 and Hiby R3. You really need a CPU with proper grunt to scan a 512Gb card with 15k songs on it really quickly. The UI is typical Shanling. Really intuitive and not too slow. Album art...

Yeah, email is the only way. They do get back after repeated enquiries. Really crappy CS for products so expensive. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re out of business soon tbh. The amp is amazing but massively overpriced with crap customer service. Not a great combination to make money.

Yeah, it’s Albums rather than Artists. I search by Album usually. I’m not incorrectly renaming Albums and Artists tho. As I’ve said, it’s not trivial programming which is why small brands don’t do it from the start.
