Ok thank you. So then I was correct. The blue marking is to face the L/R on the shell. Most companies have a marking on the shell to indicate a match to the cable so that after market cables may also be connected the correct way also since you can confirm the polarity. I will be going to a...- Hi-Fi'er

Can anyone clarify the cable pin polarity on the Believe? There seems no wording or markings on the driver itself which way. There is a blue mark on the cable though. Are we to assume that the blue mark on the cable is to be facing the L/R on each shell marking? It seems that is the natural...- Hi-Fi'er

Great info! Out of curiosity, as bass tuning with vents goes size matters as does depth and location of the hole. Too much and the driver runs free no effect and too little has no effect at all or the wrong frequency gets effected. Porting hole size; what you use as a reference to match the...- Hi-Fi'er

That's what I thought you meant. Me thoughts exactly! When cells phones go serious and have a balanced out with a 1 ohm impedance or lower and a dB of +120 or more I'll re-visit what they can really do. As of now, naw. Cheers!- Hi-Fi'er

I can read this either way. Are you saying the LGV30 is not as good as a mid tier DAP or do you mean the LGV30 is better?- Hi-Fi'er

I purchased the Andromeda's (new) first from the beginning of last year. The Andor's stink on a cell phone and I have yet to find or have anyone say it's better on LG or whatever than my DAP or any decent DAP. On a DAP with a pure dedicated designed low impedance amp is where it shines. A cell...- Hi-Fi'er

People will always like cell phones are they seem like an "all in one solution" but honestly a cell phone just will never really compare or can compete with a pure DAP. Phones were never intended or implemented for pure audio regardless their claims, hence the common statements like, noise...- Hi-Fi'er

One other thing I have done, people may not be aware, is the filters are removable. If I really prefer another tip I pull the filter out and insert into another tip. If it sits tight I will use those tips instead.- Hi-Fi'er

I will make a comparison. I can already say the DM7 does not compare to Andromeda. The details and imaging and realism on the Andro's are awesome, nothing I have or have heard come close. The DM7 did not provide that at all. The DM7 I sounded like a bloated mess to me and had harsh peaks with...- Hi-Fi'er

Maybe, but tubes/channels are not the same thing obviously. Adding up drivers to say that is the amount of tubes makes no sense especially when they clarify the amount of drivers and tubes separately in their product description. I know it was already mentioned there are 4 tubes/channels on the T800, but it's amazing how most major vendors have that wrong? They say "sophisticated three tube system, Linsoul, AlieExpress, Amazon. Drop was the only one that had it right? You can clearly see there are four tubes and it's...- Hi-Fi'er

He did state "Stainless mesh is transparent sound-wise" and I agree. Metal meshes have no audible effect unless it's a really closed screen which they are not. The one's on the Ostry are not a tight mesh either and have no real audible effect, at least for me they don't.- Hi-Fi'er

There are other options for people who don't wish to mess with directly adding, removing filters. Additional benefit is free tips, treble adjustment for those who maybe treble sensitive, and easy to remove/add on. No need to play with the internal bore or remove anything internal on the T800...- Hi-Fi'er

Wish the screens were fabric like HifiMan uses on their RE series instead of metal. Just easier to handle and would not let any foreign material get through as they are not an open mesh, but this is a good alternative.- Hi-Fi'er
