Has anyone used the R6 III with Sennheiser's 6XX or 8XX lines? How well can it amplify them?

I do too, that's why I was very confused at first! Ah well, hopefully it won't happen again.

Thanks a lot for all your helpful comments. At the end I realized it was a corrupt file that was causing the issue but couldn't figure out which one, so I had to reformat my card and now everything's fine again. :sweat_smile:

Has anyone been having trouble accessing their SD card music library on USB Audio Player Pro? I added some albums and now the app stutters and crashes every time I want to access them. I have no problem at all playing my library through Hiby Music, so I'm sure it's not my SD card being funny.

Hi guys, I'm pairing my R6 III with an iFi Zen Can through the single-end line out. Since the Zen Can has plenty of power, does it matter (in terms of sound quality) which output gain stage do I choose from the R6?

Has anyone tried the FC6 with more demanding headphones (HD650 or 800s)?

To my understanding that issue has been fixed on the latest update.

I know they're different concepts, but I'd love to see a comparison, in terms of pure sound quality, between the FC6 and the R6 III.

I'd love to buy this dongle, but I have a Samsung S20 FE and I've heard there are noise issues with the FC6 on the NOS mode. Has this been fixed in the latest firmware update?

I don't know if you guys have gotten the update for version 2.89 (I'm a Beta tester), but I just downloaded it and FLAC files are still not playing on my Hiby DAP with Android 8.1. This is not looking good at all 😔

Hi guys. Can anyone confirm if the latest Tidal update is still working fine on the M15S? Hiby and Shanling's DAPS with older Android versions are not playing the new FLAC files on Tidal's app anymore...

@Joe Bloggs , is there a way for Hiby to update our devices at least to Android 10 then? I've only had my R5 Gen 2 for a year, and since Tidal is my main service and I do use it a lot outdoors, it's making me consider selling it as it's basically useless right now :slight_frown:

This is very interesting. It seems that Fiio might be customizing their Android in a way that's not causing the app to fail...

This is ridiculous. Tidal must know that a big percentage of their customers use DAPs with older Android systems, so they better fix the incompatibility issue ASAP.

I wrote an email to Hiby's customer service at hello@hiby.com and they replied pretty fast, saying they'll let their engineers know about this issue. It'd be great if you and everyone who's experiencing this issue can write them, so they can prioritize it.

Is anyone having trouble playing the albums that have been converted to Flac? I'm using a Hiby r5 gen 2 and the newest Tidal app is only reproducing the MQA files, as the play button is not working properly on the albums I know that have been converted to Flac...

I updated my Tidal app to the newest version, which incorporates Flac, but some albums (the ones I know that have been actually converted to Flac) are not playing at all. Does anyone know if this is a fault of the app or my R5 Gen 2?

Newbie question: I was thinking of getting the Fiio R7 as a streamer to pair to a home theater through the optical jack. Is this something I'd also be able to do with the Hiby R6 III? I'd prefer to have something with Android 12 then 10 (which is what the Fiio has).

Is the Nano still easy to drive? I'd pair them with a Hiby r5 gen2.
