I guess that what was suggested when I made the purchase. Probably because AIC-10 is considered a Headphone amp. But when production increases I will look at getting the 8Ohm when ordering the Immanis. Then test it out. Because I probably won’t need the CA-1A anymore with the Immanis.

For the Riviera AIC-10 when using the my CA-1A i use the TA-1B interface 16/32 Ohm. It sounds better at 16 Ohms off the speaker taps. I have never connected to the Headphone Jack output to test. But I would think if I did I would have to connect to the 32Ohm.

I have the Danacable Lazuli Nirvana XLR to Banana adapter and headphone cable. It’s a great match for the Riviera. I also have the Lazuli Rhapsody which is also an excellent cable. Like a baby Nirvana. You can have the adapter made from that and save money if you like. Contact them.

Sorry that one is SE the Bal was on headfi but was 230 volt. There is an authorized repair location in Arizona that may could do the conversion but I would pass. Like I said it’s the same amp as BAL version only one input changed. Plus’s extra tubes.
