Shanling M0 - Nano size, touch screen, LDAC & aptX BT, USB DAC/transport and ESS Sabre ES9218P, FW 3.5

DSD is pointless , not only you can't edit it, you can't even play it without a proper equipment , higher than 16/44 gains no better quality , what is important , is the mastering of the digital track. I can't understand why people use 96khz , 24 bit has a better noise floor but it is still not...

I resample most of my songs to 16/44.1 , sounds the same to be honest , I checked using Dr score plugin for foobar2000 and it is indeed the same only ~0.01 difference in the dynamic range

How can you downgrade to version 1.4?    To me it says version too old?    I tried the beta version above the version 1.4 and it did work but below it nope.     What can I do?    Thanks

you should use cue tools as it is better medieval also encodes the file again so the md5 file changes and cue tools also verifies the files exactly , although there is a big letdown  as it cannot process more than red book standard 44.1khz /16 bit , I always resample as 24  bit and higher than...

Yea the eq settings are pretty dull , but the player itself is a solid choice , I bought it after having issues with xduoo x3 , I'm mroe than happy as it can even supports usb dac and the sound output in mw is pretty darn good
