    HiFiMan Susvara

How did the HPA4 and susvara combo fair in terms of Soundstage? I had a ray samuels back in the day with my HE1000v2, and that thing just stretched on for miles. Been looking for an amp that may at least come close to that.

    HiFiMan Susvara

Very much agreed. I think they're undoubtedly the most well rounded of any flagship headphone atm. I think the squeaking and stuff is certainly a big issue for HFM, but I've cycled through 3 or 4 different HFM's now through the years and I've never had any big issues. Either there's an issue...

FS: Unique Melody Mason V3 CIEM (Drop to 1000)

For sale is my Mason V3 - Approximately 2 years old and in great shape. Lifestyle change means that I honestly have not touched them for the past year or so, so I decided to put them up for sale. These are custom IEMs so they eventually need to be sent back to UM for reshell - Which costs...

The V3 models have a solid 2 years to them now. I think people will be happy with the changes we made to the V3+ to keep them up to date with the latest and greatest in terms of technical capabilities. The V3 models will also remain in our lineup

flinkenick's 17 Flagship IEM Shootout Thread (and general high-end portable audio discussion)

Just wanted to chime in real quick without derailing to the convo too much. Always glad to see some love for UM around here! Apologies that there hasn't been too much more info about our newer units. They got caught up a bit with some of the people trying them out so it was just delay after...

    Unique Melody Mirage

Don’t be fooled by the “mere” 3 drivers that are core to the Mirage’s design. Utilizing a unique customized open driver for its mid range, the Mirage offers formidable performance despite its smaller stature. With the same 3D-printed ultra-thin titanium shells as the Maven, albeit with a...

To add to that, there have been quite a few people asking why we have a TIA high driver. While our semi-open BA is right at the nozzle, it isn't actually a driver used in sound production. I like to say the Maven is a 10+1 driver IEM. The semi-open driver is used to help us tame peaks in the...

CanJam NYC will be the official debut of the Maven and Mirage as well as the first time the US community will get to try them out! The Maven and Mirage demo units just arrived here in the US so I thought I'd take a few potato phone camera shot for everyone to get a better look. You can see that the carrying cases are different in design. The Maven (left) also utilizes a slightly thicker dual tone cable while the 2 pin...

The higher end Maven implements a different technology with our semi-open driver. That specific driver, in a nutshell, works almost as a "noise cancelling" device that gives us a more precise control over the tuning of the high frequency range. We should have media material to share with...

The Maven utilizes are dual tone cable system, as it's a bit of a higher end model. The Mirage is what uses the 2 pin. I'll look to see if we can get some units to Europe, but it may take a bit as we're still trying to keep up with domestic market orders.
