If you notice, I’m also selling my KSE1500. I’m cleaning the house for budgetary reasons, and also because I’m barely mobile these days and have Susvara/ HE6/HEKV2 and HD800 serving me more time :) If anyone wants my Nio’s, they’ve been babied :)

    MINT Shure KSE1500

It pains me to put these for sale, but the time has come to part ways with what I deem the highest fidelity iem available on market. What you’re getting is 10/10 mint. They have at most 40 hours of playback. They were replaced through warranty with new, and will be covered by me for almost 2...

I tried @Titienne ’s Fir O and it sounds tonally closer to the M15 than it does the MX. We had the luxury of comparing with Z1R and it quickly confirmed it is a better technical performer than Nio. M15 sounds most like a Z1R but with smoothed off upper treble, and more bass quantity (yes, can...

So I had some fun trying new iem’s today and am seriously impressed by the new Final flagship. Not pictured, are the Dunu Luna, and they’re quite disappointing. Nio - S+ Musicality | S- Resolution A8000 - A+ Musicality | S+ Resolution Andro S - A Musicality | A+ Resolution Dunu Luna - B...

    HiFiMan Susvara

If you want the best planar bass that is reference with slight boost, I have to hand it to the D8000 Pro. Never heard the Abyss TC, but did hear the OG. I’ve owned LCD4 for 2 months, and it had super satisfying bass, but is not as textured and nuanced as Susvara or D8000 Pro. Even speaker...

Beautiful serial number! If ever you sell it please put me atop your list :)

I think in today’s current inflated market, Nio comes off as a “bargain” comparatively, but realistically, it’s worth its ask and is a true endgame performer in my opinion! Comfort is top notch, I don’t think anyone would have comfort issues with the shell design. Cheers :)

Effortless is the first word I’d use to describe KSE1500, and besides HE1, Susvara and SR1A’s I think it’s objectively the top performer in today’s lineup of iem’s/ hp’s irregardless of tuning preferences. It just sounds real when given the chance. The problem, and you’re totally right - is that...

The only iem I can straight compare to my better headphones is my KSE1500, in its effortless black background and diffuse field staging like no other iem out there. Problem is, it’s fussy and not all that portable, and making me appreciate my Nio all the more. IEM’s have really evolved...

As title says, I’m looking for the Fir O modules Thanks

    SONY IER-Z1R

I’m interested in Z1R if ever you sell. I had the IER-M9 and loved em! Stock cable killed dynamics though, give it a shot with a CA Super Litz or Fiio LCD silver cable, pretty apparent improvement, at the expense of less diffused soundstage. Also, 64 Audio Nio Bridges the tonal gap between Z1R...

    Campfire - Solaris

Having owned OG Solaris and recently acquiring 64 Nio, I’m absolutely mind-boggled by just how good iem’s have gotten. I was keen on getting the SE Solaris since I did enjoy Solaris, but felt it was too sharp and lacked low end texture and body, but ended up gambling and going for the other...

Seems you like a lot of treble bite and diffuse soundstage, with a more technical tonality, and neutral bass. Nio would not be your cup of tea, honestly. My Solaris was more “neutral” and transparent than a buddy’s, which confirms variance in early units, but I actually preferred his more...

    SONY IER-Z1R

Curious about the exact products you used! I’d like to do the same on my Andromeda Stainless. I used Cape Cod polishing clothes, but it really just polished to a shine, it doesn’t buff out scratches, but it sure does polish to a mirror finish!

    SONY IER-Z1R

Interesting take, I haven’t heard that when I auditioned. Is that a critique or you like what you’re hearing? Cheers

    HiFiMan Susvara

Susvara straight on my MC225, granted its not quite as powerful as the 275 :) Also have 2 HE adaptor box (one modded), and prefer not using them. Sadly not selling either, but i don’t recommend it, it’s a resistance. You can change resistors to change tonality based on impedence though..

Having owned the IER-M9 and auditioning u12t 2 days ago, even if going by memory, u12T is now my idea of best BA bass. It’s definitely a north of neutral bass presentation. Will get Nio this week and try to A/B with a friend’s Z1R on the weekend. U12t is still fresh on my mind too - really...

Review by 'dleblanc343' on item 'final D8000 Pro Edition'

A little background on me I’ve been passionate about headphones for over the past decade, to the point where my love of music and tech intertwined and absorbed me into a black hole – and all this happening in what I’d call a booming decade for personal audio. I’d like to think I’ve developed a...

Mint Cayin N6ii with E01 motherboard

I admire its sound quality, but don’t find myself using it much as I’m more focused on desktop audio. No blemishes or any form of wear, operates wonderfully. Cheers :)

    HiFiMan Susvara

Absolutely love it, and have owned a few of your amps along the years. Met a couple guys from your team at the Montreal Audio Show (Hi Vincent and Daniel :) ) Also for those interested, I mentioned a D8000 Pro review, and have made some brief mentions of Susvara in it, which is why I consider...

I’m glad it’s noticeably ahead of Atlas. I guess I came across quite bitter, but you’re right, it’s more so that the iem is not in line with my preferences (natural, great transparency, ideally no midbass bloat and good timbre). How is Nio’s bass texturing and body with the MX module? I think...

The Official 64 Audio Thread | apex & tia Technologies

I bought Atlas when it released because of initial hype and being the straight follow up to Andros. It was literally my biggest purchase regret in audio. I listed them for sale within the day I got them. I hate to rag on it, because I do enjoy my andro S and enjoyed the Solaris when I owned...
