DX320MAX Ti The musical event worth the wait. ROHM X 4. NEW Firmware: 2.02.68
Is this in Android or Mango OS? Mango OS has a Power Management setting that auto-shuts off the power after a specified time. You can try turning that off too.- antdroid

They should be interchangeable. I did the opposite. I used emu cups (which you can email and buy separately) and put it on my TR-X00 ebony.- antdroid

Subtonic STORM: Impressions and Discussion
I dont like dongles. I have them but never use them. It drains my phone battery, awkward to have in your pockets, and I want the storage of a DAP.- antdroid

Subtonic STORM: Impressions and Discussion
I also use 320 MAX with Storm for my "normal" pairing. I carry it in my backpack to work. That said, when I am going to start traveling again for work in the next few weeks, I may have to leave it at home to save precious space in my carry-on bag for other things. I just got the Hiby R3-II for...- antdroid

The New HIBY R3 II is here. 4.4MM Jack; Improved Sound and Bluetooth.
It seems like Artist and Album Artist are reversed in the software vs how it traditionally is meant to be. Once you know this, it makes more sense to use, but yea that is a bug or translation issue. My fav offline DAP is the Lotoo PAW 6000/Gold Touch. They are made really well and sound fantastic.- antdroid

The New HIBY R3 II is here. 4.4MM Jack; Improved Sound and Bluetooth.
I havent tried the Shanling M1S yet, so I cant really give much opinion to it. For another small form-factor DAP comparison, I did recently have the Hidizs AP80 Pro-X. The Hiby R3-2 is more capable than that one is for the most part, but I do like that the album art display on the AP80 series is...- antdroid

DX320MAX Ti The musical event worth the wait. ROHM X 4. NEW Firmware: 2.02.68
Ya aluminum does a good job of protecting itself by creating an oxide layer when it corrodes and it normally doesnt attack much more since it creates its own barrier. The problem is that barrier changes the interface and things that were meant to adhere to it may not anymore. I'm probably...- antdroid

DX320MAX Ti The musical event worth the wait. ROHM X 4. NEW Firmware: 2.02.68
Hmm Ti and Al aren't really galvanically compatible. Hope they have some sort of coating on that aluminum, or done their durability testing. (While Ti is more resistant to corrosion, aluminum is more susceptible to it with Ti at the interface). I guess if its on the inside, you won't see it...- antdroid

Symphonium Crimson - Impressions and Reviews (The Next Standard)
If you're at CanJam, you can hear the same set that I wrote about, but I think I saw you weren't able to attend it for family reasons. Same for me as well (nephew's birthday party) which is why I was happy to get to demo it before I had to send it to the team for canjam. Anyway, I try to not...- antdroid

Symphonium Crimson - Impressions and Reviews (The Next Standard)
Posted my impressions of the Crimson here! It's a very nice and unique IEM and the staging sets it apart from other IEMs. (oh, and I have no idea what the driver types or driver count is in this product) https://www.audiodiscourse.com/2023/09/symphonium-crimson-impressions.html- antdroid

The New HIBY R3 II is here. 4.4MM Jack; Improved Sound and Bluetooth.
With balanced 4.4mm, low gain, it gets to my normal listening levels at around 50/100 on the volume bar. I don't hear any signs of dynamics lost here. I wouldn't say its as good sounding as the DX320 MAX or DX240 DAPs I normally run Storm with, but its quite fine for this really nice...- antdroid

crinacle's IEM Ranking List
It can potentially, but things naturally fall into some sort of normal distribution when there is a large enough sample population -- hence why there are statistical analysis around this. That said, it's just a way to normalize and rank things -- since people like rankings. (For reference, I do...- antdroid

crinacle's IEM Ranking List
I don't know the exact methodology that Crin published on his latest ranking but he did mention several times that he is curving it on a bell curve. For my personal ranking system, I also use a Normal Distribution to adjust the curve using statistical formulas in Excel. What does this mean? It...- antdroid
