Beyerdynamic T5 versions for gaming
Probably outdated topic but i will answer for anyone who might seek this information in future. I personaly use T5p 2gen daily, as my main desktop headphones. I absolutly love the tunning of this and I'm quite passionate FPS players. They are increadible for gaming. I've tried 3rd gen as well...- sspkt

Beyerdynamic T5 (3rd Generation)
I wanted brighter highes and more spacious sound, that is why I went with T5p.2 . I have to try Radiance in near future as it is on my list but I'm worried that they will be too narrow for me. Unusable for FPS gaming for example. I came from open headphones and it is a big deal for me. For Dan...- sspkt

Beyerdynamic T5 (3rd Generation)
I have T5p.2 and treble is spot on for me, way more balanced then most of Beyers that i heard (warm/balance). Don't know if it is my cans or my hearing  Overall they sound very very close to each other, 3rd gen drivers are tiny bit more capable then 2nd imo but the tuning is achieved...- sspkt

Beyerdynamic T5 (3rd Generation)
So, I found a need for good closed headphones. Headphones that i can put on and enjoy my music in rather small environment so isolation is crucial. Having experience with open back HP I used to love spacious, detailed but overwhelming experience where a bit of boosted bass... never hurt nobody...- sspkt

Beyerdynamic T5 (3rd Generation)
I did not heard any Pro X HP but you guys have to keep one thing in your mind and it was mentioned here few times and even above your post. T1/5 have insane resolution. Incredible soundstage for their category and details. I bought 1990 after T1.3 because of neutral tonality and more versatile...- sspkt

Beyerdynamic T5 (3rd Generation)
3rd gen drivers are really insane in their capability. I'm thinking about getting T5's. I loved T1.3 for that impactful low end and insanely enjoyable and overwhelming tonality but as top mids and highs were stunning for some tracks, they were killing as many others from my library. Is T5 better...- sspkt

Any subjective compression to Timeless? Can't make my mind if I should upgrade. There is no return policy for IEM in my area.- sspkt

Beyerdynamic T1 3rd Gen out now
The first thing i realize why Beyer kept their old design with new T1's was comfort. First impressions were meh, do something new already, but then.. :) Clamp is stronger then on previous T1.2 but lesser then 1990.- sspkt

Beyerdynamic T1 3rd Gen out now
You are definitely right regarding amping T1.2 My home setup is really mediocre (IEMagni + Modi 3) and i do feel like they have much more to offer but i cant achieve that. Will let them go soon i guess.- sspkt

Beyerdynamic T1 3rd Gen out now
I've sold my T1.3 just to finance other headphones and move around this Beyers world (have to keep my money quite realistic in this hobby). I agree there is no other HP that sounds like that. Capability of new 32 ohm driver is really insane. I do believe it is more capable then old 600ohm one. I...- sspkt

Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone
I would suggest Changes by Tupac as well, especially YouTube version. I'm lucky with my 1990 which is not sibilant for me but on T1.2, oh boy this YouTube version. Pins in the ear.- sspkt

Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone
Comfort is kinda similar, same to the touch, they are a little bit thicker and more dense so they will heat you ears bit quicker then stock one. T1 has lesser clamp force.- sspkt

Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone
I've tried Dekoni Elite Velours, Dekoni Suede, OEM T1.2 Velours, two different sets of analytic and of course balanced pads. I'm coming from T1.3 to T1.2 and I'm daily 7Hz Timeless. For me T1.2 pads on 1990 is by far the best set I own right now. As I mentioned, they are v shaped but lows are...- sspkt

Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone
Does anyone tried 1990 with T1.2 pads? One i used are brand new OEM replacement bought recently so if there was any difference on early batches it might be worth mention. I have a feeling they are quite like OEM balanced pads but a tiny bit more tight on bass and less sibilant on treble and more...- sspkt
