Have you guys tried blasting the volume with them plugged in? My right-side driver (2012) died all of a sudden after a pad change but I read somewhere to plug it in and turn up the volume until the driver comes back. This worked for me surprisingly! Might be worth a try.

I've been eyeing that same tube! I noticed they had this tube in at the Texas show. It should fit no problem. Can't wait to hear your impressions.
