Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600
After writing a lengthy email to Sennheiser India asking them to test with a couple of songs and Sennheiser's own soundtrack. They have finally provided me with a replacement IE600 unit. Albeight with some persuasion to conduct proper testing from my end. The testing should have ideally...- gourab1995

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600
Thanks for the offer. I will ask if they will accept a frequency measurement as proof before going through any further steps. Anyways the point being why does a customer have to do this? An audio company does not have the proper equipment to test its own devices. It's not how things are done.- gourab1995

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600
It's going to be a hassle if you arent located in Kolkata. Besides that, let's say there is a measurable frequency response mismatch. Who is going to fix it? It shouldn't be the problem of the customer to inspect the product properly. It is the brand's duty.- gourab1995

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600
In India, this was the response I got. Not sure what 'cable reliability improvements' means because it's the exact same cable I had sent. I know because it's curled up the same way. Besides the channel Imbalance still exists. Seems like the facility does not have a frequency-measuring rig...- gourab1995

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600
I have the exact same thing, right is quieter than left. Did the silica gel trick help? I had sent mine to warranty even, and it came back in the same state as it was sent. Really troubling.- gourab1995

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600
Has anyone had their ie600 show channel imbalance? Mine started playing louder from the left sight compared to the right out of the blue. I had sent it for warranty inspection and it seems to have come back as it was sent. In every song I hear the vocals on the left. It's a very slight...- gourab1995

Let's not start off on a sour note and ignore this weirdness. You've worked on this! that's cool. What was the main focus when designing/tuning the driver? Apart from of course matching HBB's target.- gourab1995

The Closed-Back Headphone Thread (Plus Comparisons & Reviews)
Hmm didnt realize they cost 1399 USD or about 1.3 L Rs. I will go high end but under 900 USD. Also realized they are high impedance. I want something a bit more convenient to drive say at most 80 ohms. Ideally 40 something ohms.- gourab1995

I liked the denons but not so much as to make me upgrade. The teaks are no. Im expecting a similar jump in quality like in the iem space when going from say something like the blon bl03 to the etymotic er2xr to the Sennheisers ie600. In headphones im skipping the in-betweeners and going for a...- gourab1995

I feel like the denons lacks some mid range presence for my taste. Too v shaped. They are a good set of v shaped set nevertheless.- gourab1995

Thanks for the reply. Seems like Shures are more on the neutral side compared to Focal Radiance but which out of the 2 would you say is more detailed? Which one better brings out quieter sounds and is dynamic? And which ones do you mostly use for what? I'm not seeking neutral sound, rather a...- gourab1995

I'm looking for my endgame closed backs. I currently have Sennheiser hd 599 and Beyerdynamic dt770 pro 32ohm. I like them both but want something with more fidelity. I like Sennheisers comfort and imaging. I like the Beyerdynamics soundstage and fullness. They are a good pair of "apple and...- gourab1995

I swapped, modded any changed a lot, in the end I have Spinfit cp145 on , cp100 is a close second. CP145 is worth getting regardless of pairing with this iem. Its just a great eartip.- gourab1995

As you mentioned, I found a website, from where I've bought from before they have the trn-m10 listed for 14usd. Just my luck to have them be out of stock.
