Has anybody tried this in an audio interface yet? I would think that since many of those don't have great clocks and are powered by USB, this could be a really nice addition to a recording interface. I have found iOS7 sounds better overall, I have also tried it with the Mcintosh Audio AP1 app, XD music player and of course the native music app, All apps sound better, it does sound less congested, to my ears, without an amp. There is better sound staging and the high end is less harsh and my...- HiFi FOR METAL

Cable and DAP combo for IE8
Hey Everyone, I had a question. I am hard pressed to find a cable that would suit my needs for my IE8. I am not all that impressed with the seemingly generic offerings of cables on Ebay for this IEM. It seems like everyone makes their own offering of teflon dialectric IEM cables with stranded...- HiFi FOR METAL

SSD in iPod and trick to make sound quality really outstanding
Miku39 sorry for taking so long to respond. to answer your question Error correction doesn't add jitter it just cannot fix all of it Jitter is a timing based distortion so any time domain changes in clock speed and timing effect the sound in phase coherence, sound stage, and frequency...- HiFi FOR METAL

SSD in iPod and trick to make sound quality really outstanding
Actually power cords do make a huge difference. They can effect resistance of the incoming AC wave. They can effect Volt Amps Reactive and just amperage in general. That is why power cords are UL rated for certain amperage level the more stable current you have the better the system will sound...- HiFi FOR METAL

PSU Upgrades for Cambridge Audio DacMagic...
Actually these mods make a lot of sense, many wall warts are non linear power supplies and don't do a very good job at giving you stable current and/or voltage. The reason it is possibly worth moding the cambridge is because The DSPs inside aren't really in other USB DACs. Anagram DSPs are known...- HiFi FOR METAL

Dac of Simaudio Moon i3.3 ?
Yeah I know this Thread is a little old, but I thought I would chime in. The DAC section of the i3.3 is Very Similar to that of the Sim Audio CD-1.
