Having recently picked up a pair of HE 500's, I cannot believe what an incredible audio bargain they are. These easily swing much higher than their price range. Craigslist, I love you.

I have legitimate Beats Pro's, that I received for free. They are a letdown, I can only imagine what a knockoff sounds like. Look for a great resale pair of legitimate contenders on the forums.

I know it's a bit early in the game, but I'd be interested in anyones experience with a given tube set in the new Mjolnir 2. Owning a Lyr2, I'm interested to see how my tube library will adapt to the Mojo 2.

Beyond the vinyl reproduction argument, there is a great positive benefit to the tactile experience. Being able to handle, touch, and experience LP's while listening is non inconsequential.

I'm having a lot of direct ear pressure from pads. I originally was using the Sennheiser yellow HD414's with great success. Switched to the Jumbo G-cush pads and the pad pressure limits my listening to about 30 mins. Can anyone recommend the best way to soften these G-cush pads up a bit?

I have seen photos that look completely carbon neutral, and some with color mixed in the cups. I just chalked the color I've seen to light reflections.   Are the cups a pure neutral carbon color?
