Paying attention to what things cost and what we end up selling items for - taking into account shipping and fees - smart money is on getting a bigger refund. Buyers and sellers of personal audio equipment are small fish - not audit targets.

Got myself a cheapie leather case I really like - no zipper, stays closed - room for cable and IEMs in their own mesh bag - no name brand, but I get to pocket the $70 I saved. Snaps closed - no sharp edges... And the Sony case stays in its box with the single ended cable I won't use. :)

One way of looking at these - is a smaller company - one that didn't also manufacture $20 memory chips - had committed the engineering and manufacturing to create a hybrid IEM like the Z1R, it would cost more than an obravo megabuck IEM.... So I think a grand is actually quite a deal.

Does anyone use the included cable windy thingie when storing their Z1R's? I bought a few of the Campfire Audio mesh bags with two compartments for a few of my IEMs I want to keep in good shape - might just use one of those and a pelican case and leave the case in the box - it is nice, but...
