Unfortunately the Rag is out at the moment , but I can bring the Liquid Crimson. Also, I do have a Massdrop Airist R2R DAC for sale, if anyone is interested, I can bring that to the meet.

I find the Master 9 doesn’t have as much slam as my other amp the Violectric V281 (both being attached to the same DAC)

I thought Neutrik XLR connectors were the professional standard.

Apparently now there is only one NOS mode.

I wouldn't say its night and day no, but I found the R28 sound was a touch flat and also, with my Atticus it gave it a slightly tizzy upper end, which the M9 also fixed. The M9 has just a more powerful sound which gels really well with the ZMF headphones.

I have the exact same system R28 -> Master 9 and I can tell you the amp of the M9 is improved over the amp in the R28 (its essentially a NFB-1 inside the R28). You will notice more dynamics and the sound has more gestalt than the R28 alone, at least for he headphones that I use. Also make...

From preliminary listening, the Verite gels really well with my solid state amps! Although the Liquid Crimson does take it to another level!
