Have been doing more and more reading and watching videos on the ZMF lineup and am actually leaning towards the Atticus, as I was also after a closed can.

I have definitely gone down the ZMF rabbit hole now. Everything I have seen so far makes me think the Aeolus is for me. Thinking I may stick with the Bifrost/Lyr combo for now and only upgrade DAC/Amp once I have had the Aeolus for a while.

Me too! So far I like what I have read and the few YT reviews I have watched. Looking at all of the different ZMF options now as a comparison.

Otherwise if the LCD-XC is too heavy, I am looking closely at the Sony MDR-Z1R's. How would these pair with the Burson stack?

I have done some more research and I like the idea of the LCD-XC + Burson Composer 3XP + Burson Solist 3XP combination, but worried about the weight of the LCD-XC's. Anybody use this specific combination that can comment?

New Schiit owner here too. Just got a USB Bifrost and a Lyr. Running them with the ALO Audio Jena cabled HD650's. Very nice so far, but also have a set of HE-500's on the way.

I split my time between QLD and Sydney and just got a Schiit Lyr. Might be interested in checking out some different tubes.

I can't comment on Adelaide but A2A is definitely worth a visit. I was there this week after flying down from Sydney and had given myself an hour thinking this was enough time, but with everything they have on display and the 'no pressure' approach to allowing you to listen to anything you want...
