I'm split as exploration is more enjoyed with Skyrim and combat mechanics more with Soulsborne. Another great game this year is Baldur's Gate 3. If you are ok with turn-based.

Skyrim is still a great game if RPG is your thing, but yes, Soulsborne games offer that extra. Starfield feels like the type of game that you play exactly the way you want, whatever that may be.

You have to get a good 5 hours in (do at least some of the main quest) for things to open up and then things are pretty limitless. It's just a much more polished offering than previous BGS. I don't know, maybe you'll find you like the space combat most or treat discovery more like NMS.

This one got me. And it has its hooks in good.

There are levels to this and the 300B brings so much dimension. I use the Perryman mesh 45 DAC with a 300B pre to my CFA3 and it's as incredible as any tube amplification. Which is a beast-mode with planar pairings.

Nods. Considering pairing one out with some 300B pre but am worried about ultimate drive and a little more worried about resolution smearing. Probably better off pairing the pre with a Ragnarok but I do have enough gear sitting unused which irks.
