Hello! Got this Hifiman Arya v2 last year and I've taken good care of them. I'm the second owner btw. They sound great and work perfectly fine. Smoke free environment and we do have 2 dogs but they never come into my room. I eventually bought some Dekoni Hybrid Elite pads for them. I have the...- PlanarBunny

HIFIMAN Arya - Arya Stealth - Arya Organic :: Impressions Thread
I've got a v2 and I changed to elite hybrid. Much better all around especially for comfort. Sound though I don't notice too much of a difference between stock and elite hybrid pads. The stock pads would make an awful squeak noise as my glasses rubbed against them. If I could I'd buy another pair...- PlanarBunny

NITSCH x Schiit Magni Piety - Impressions Thread
For sure. Thanks for the response! I have a regular Modi+ as a backup Schiit dac because I've been enjoying my Modi Multbit that I bought preowned. If anything happens to this one I could send it in for a repair or maybe towards an upgrade perhaps. But yeah so far I've had 0 issues with my Modi...- PlanarBunny

NITSCH x Schiit Magni Piety - Impressions Thread
What problems would that be? Atm I have a Modi Multibit 1 (could be either first or updated version of this first model but idk for sure what version it is) and its performance is great. Have no real issues with it, but would it be worth it to ask Schiit about updating it to Unison? Idk if...- PlanarBunny

I'd say any tbh but I have a Modi Multibit 1 (might be version 2 of the first modi multibit but I haven't opened it up so I'm not sure) and it's a great pairing. Right now my setup is that with a Focal Elex. Great stuff- PlanarBunny

How do you like it? Do you like high gain or low gain more? Lately I've been using Piety with my Elex and it's an absolute blast. Great combo.- PlanarBunny

Sennheiser HD 660S2 thread
Awesome review! I feel the same way about my HD600 and 6XX vs other headphones I have. The original 6X0 headphones just sound too solid to really be trumped by anything else I have. However, I think direct upgrades from the HD600 to the 660S2 could be things like imaging, instrument separation...- PlanarBunny

Arya v2 with dekoni hybrid is very nice I can confirm more comfy too especially as a glasses user. The stock pads have this atrocious fabric on the surface I honestly hate it. Dekoni pads have that same hybrid style the HE series has that I find MUCH better.- PlanarBunny

So true. Both my Asgard 3 and A30 Pro make my Arya v2 sing! Currently using the A30 Pro, D30 Pro stack. In love with this setup right now.- PlanarBunny

Thanks for the input! I was really curious whether it would be worth upgrading but it looks like not yet. I definitely could but I feel like waiting it out a bit more. V2 with dekoni pads have been really good to me.- PlanarBunny

There's an upgrade offering for arya owners? I have a v2 atm. Wondering if it's worth it to go to stealths or organic if I could get that discount upgrade trade in. I also wanna know what yall think about the v2's in general. Currently using dekoni elite hybrid pads for em.- PlanarBunny

Recently I've been using the 660S2 for the past couple weeks and I really love it. Went from the Piety to my D10b+A30 Pro setup and it has great synergy with that stack! Which brings me to swapping over to the Arya v2 (with dekoni hybrid pads). Usually I use my Modi+Asgard 3 stack but I didn't...- PlanarBunny

Tell me a bit more about your HE1kse experience! I have an Arya v2 (with dekoni hybrid elites, more comfy than stock pads. I have glasses.) and I've been avoiding slapping it in Piety and keeping it on my Asgard 3 or A30 Pro because of the power.- PlanarBunny

Yeah I've been experimenting with low and high gain for my Arya v2. I sorta feel more comfortable with them on high gain but low gain is perfectly drivable too. I just feel a bit odd about turning up the knob more than I'm used to. Right now it's on/around the 2 o clock area.- PlanarBunny

I don't have Ananda, other headphones I own are HD580, HD600, HD6XX, and Focal Elex. When it comes to first putting on my Arya, it definitely takes a bit of time to get used to, especially if your brain and ears are more used to the tuning of another headphone. Once you do get used to the Arya...- PlanarBunny

Got a working asgard again. Had something funky going on with my previous one so I got a refund and bought another because I missed it. Really great with my Arya v2! Throw that thing in high gain and my Arya sings 🥰 I have a piety and a topping L50 and the E50 L50 stack is super great, but I...- PlanarBunny

I could do an Asgard again. Thing is last time I had one it was giving me some static in the right channel and I sent it back like 3 times and they couldn't find it. I could try a brand new unit and just pair it with either my modi or E50. I had more interest in a Singxer for a fully balanced...- PlanarBunny
