No foam at all. There was kind of like a thick dust cover/filter I guess? Edit: Felt... Felt was the word i was looking for.

Bro you can't just drop Fireworks Festival on me like that. It was a good first review, I've read your written review and felt maybe it was a bit too on pace with the script in the video. I did find you to be quite stiff at times going in between the script you made and then to jokes feels a bit...

In case if you were curious with what the drivers in the 95x looks like. Had some rattling in one of my cups, looks like something was loose and was rattling around. In front part of the driver theres a super thin film for what I'm guessing is to prevent from dust from entering the driver...

I'll have to get back to you as L3 and L9 are on loan to a friend to review. Out of memory, the Blessing 2 is noticeably brighter than both and I had to adjust to let my ears get used to them. I am a basshead, I will let people know I'm a basshead. I love the rumble and I love the bass guitar...

    Moondrop in-ear monitors Impressions Thread

Hard for me to really a/b them since the Solaris is long gone now. Judging from the frequency graph as someone who leaned towards being a basshead, I assumed that I would have an issue with the Blessing 2 but I was pretty wrong. The first thing that wow'd me was the bass, it's extremely well...

I would definitely say they are at the very least on par with the Solaris and perhaps just behind the Andromeda (thanks to its amazing treble performance). Frequency response wise I much prefer these over both. I can see myself preferring Solaris on some tracks with its gimmicky (not meant in a...

Also as a warning, there is a dust filter sticker on the nozzle but it's held on by a weak adhesive, I've already accidentally rubbed one off while tip rolling.

Blessing 2 just came in, thought I might be disappointed by the bass, but it's my favorite so far in terms of bass. Somehow Sednas fit these.

Can IEMs be as good as over-ear headphones?

Honestly, I have no idea, Audio Technica hasn't been very popular in the West. Can't say I have much to say about them. 5-40,000 Hz is your typical jargon of "this produces sound"

iem/over ear/on ear that is vocal centric

Moondrop Blessing 2 HD 600 (very sweet mids) ZMF is known for having lush mids but I haven't been able to experience them yet. Look into the Eikons. Focal Elegias (Closed Back)

    ThieAudio Legacy 9

Whether or not it's hardware burn in or brain burn in, I'll let you decide that. I find that separation between the Bass Guitar and the Vocalist no longer blur together, mids don't overpower or blend to the bass guitar which was my biggest gripe and criticism. I find the low-end has greatly...

I've put my initial thoughts in the L9 thread, I'll give my thoughts on L3 vs L9 in a bit here. They are basically 2 different IEMs that compliment each other pretty well. https://www.head-fi.org/threads/thieaudio-legacy-9.927889/post-15627093

    Am i not an audiophile?

Haven't been able to experience with planars much, I had tried the Sundaras but I have no memory of how they sound nowadays. I've heard of the bass extension going LOW LOW LOW and of course the infamous bass slam.

    Does it even exist?

I have the HD600s, don't really use them much for gaming. They are acceptable for gaming but I wouldn't use them strictly for gaming. The HD600s are pretty intimate with a narrow sound-stage. Mid-bass (bass guitar) is there but definitely brought behind the singer. The mids are very sweet and...
