The Fostex TH-900 has a impedance of 25 ohms, the same as the D7000, why would it require any more power?

LOL, ya gotta love the wanna be headphone elitist on this forum. When I see a person constantly bashing products I have to question their motives, I don't particularly care for Beats headphones but I don't hang out in Beats threads bashing them.

I own both and to my ears the Denons blow the Shures outta the water. But now I can see why our opinions differ.

Personally I'm not dropping 2 grand on any headphone. Diminishing returns.

Hmmm, I did compare. BTW, not everyone can drop 300-400 bucks on headphones.

That is why you have to take these so-called reviews with a grain of salt, most people commenting don't even own them. It is always best to audition for yourself, everybody has different hearing acuity and hear certain frequencies differently.
