iPod Touch Sound Quality
Depending on your headphones, the hiss can be quite prominent and easily noticeable. My ES2s are highly sensitive and the hiss is as loud as I've heard on any iPod I've owned. However, as odd as it sounds, the hiss doesn't affect SQ. Sound quality is just as good as the 1G shuffle, if not better.- camille

Recommendations for relatively cheap canal earbuds?
If you can afford it and not much of a basshead, i'd recommend ER-6is. however, for the thrifty person in us, the FX33 is a great budget bud.- camille

Sony D-9
I still have that D-9 kicking around. everything works perfectly except the right channel of the headphone out is louder than the left. wouldn't matter if I'd use the Line-out anyway. With the adaptor, for $8 it's a damn good deal...- camille

Sleater Kinney - I don't get it??
I haven't gotten a chance to listen to their previous work, but The Woods is now starting to grow on me. upon importing, I combined the final tracks, Let's Call It Love + Night Light on account of the transition in between tracks and they're both my favourite songs off that album for that... -
Sony MDR-EX90LP HELP!!!
I've never seen anyone who had EX90s that look like Pic 1. the right and left indicators are in the housing area, near the tubing. unless Sony revised the EX90s design (highly unlikely), the 1st pic is fake.- camille

How many pairs of headphones do you lug with you on the road?
I do carry 3 most times (2 are stashed in my pack -- Philips SHL9500, iBuds) including the ones I'd be currently using at the time. Initially, the iBuds are there for a "just because" reason; and my SHL9500s are my lunch break cans. Not only that, my Shuffle is kept in the bag; again, for a...- camille

CDBaby.com is awesome!
I got a good chuckle when I placed my order for a Regina Spektor CD and got that email. what's more is their follow up email asking you to review the disc. I forgot what it said (nor can find that email) but it does have that similar humourous text included. good stuff. -
The one song that for you, changed everything:
It would have to be either Dido's "Here With Me" or Sarah Slean's "Sweet Ones" that made me search out for female vocalists, singer/songwriters. That which made me search for nearly 80+ different female artists ranging from various vocal stylings, and genres; a lot of which covers nearly 85% of... -

Maria Taylor's Lynn Teeter Flower 03/06/07
mm, I guess I overshot the 2 weeks. Next tuesday; oh boy! can't wait! most albums I anticipate for I won't listen to samples; I'm coming in with an open mind. this is no exception. Unfortunately that was the case for Nellie McKay's new album. over a year without hearing anything from that...
