Eh, the soundstage is average at best and I'm not a fan of its imaging capabilities. But I will agree the bass is quite enjoyable.

I am looking for a more forward sound with the rock music really being in your face and I want the slam of the drums to be heard through the bass.For bass I would prefer a hard controlled slam rather than more of a "rumble" but I like both. These are the headphones I have tried and my comments...

So I ended up trying the Focal Elear and the Focal Utopia and I really could not hear that much of a difference. Definitely not a $3k difference...crazy.

Aye, the comfort on the LCD 3's are...lacking. But surely the 650's can't compete with the lush mid range that audeze offers no? Not to mention the bass... I can see the 650 beating them on the highs/vocals though.
