i got the answer for my question from B&W (regarding jack output power)   they wrote: 2.6V  16 Ohm minimal impedance 163mA   not bad at all.

i have k501 too but for classical-mood i recommend alessandro ms pro anyday over the akg. more engaging in the sound + much easier to achieve the near-maximum potencial of the headphone with amplification.
