2K is hardly 90% of the he-1. I'd say the Susvara, Utopia, Lcd4, Sr009/L700, Mr speakers electrostat are 90% of it. Having heard them all. Go mrspeakers electrostat and buy a amp.

I feel that the k1000 is pointless. If you want poor isolation and sound leakage, just buy speakers instead. A speaker setup will definitely surpass it in the same price category given it's age.

The V1 goes for around 500 and the v2 goes for 1000 used. I only buy used due to rapid depreciation.
