Upcoming: Hockey Playoffs
I am a die hard Sens fan and it must suck to be them.....how do you suit up against Sydney Crosby night after night? Isn't the definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results? poor Sens...they had a good team this year, maybe a change in goalie...- freakydrew

Dell Mini9 sound question
Does anyone know if it is possible to get the sound to come out of a USB port instead of the headphone out? Right now my 2.1 sound system comes out of my Headphone jack, I would like to buy something like the Musiland currently for sale on this board or use my Zero Dac - just something to...- freakydrew

Has anyone who owns >$50 powercords ever wired a house?
interesting topic! I have the aforementioned Home Depot wire straight from my breaker panel to the plug that my battery back up is plugged into. Into the battery back up is the PC, AMP, monitor. I have a second plug for my turntable and phono preamp but I can't think of what else would be... -
solder fume extractor
on the pictures with the two soldering stations, there is a window about 3' above (my basement work room) so the window is ground level and the exhaust should not effect anything. I just to hook it up to the window somehow... heading to Home Depot tomorrow so will hopefully find a switch- freakydrew

the Quadropuss is more than the third hand, it is also the base (green border) too... not that I get any commission or anything, it is just a great product, I am sure someone could cobble up something similar for cheaper though- freakydrew

Upcoming: Hockey Playoffs
Go Sens! ok, I know they will play either New Jersey or Pittsburgh in the first round and both are much better teams, but at least they made the playoffs this year without Heatley! And any year the Leafs don't make the playoffs is a great year in hockey!- freakydrew
