Any old fart head-fi'ers still around?
I've had a few classic RS1's pass through my hands and every time something justified selling them to fund something else. It's been years since I've last listened to any Grado cans but my memories of the RS1 always left some regret about selling. I had no interest in the newer RS1i but maybe...- fureshi

Any old fart head-fi'ers still around?
The small fit me perfectly as well although I was in between sizes. That and the CD3k I should have never sold. This has been a journey in regret, for selling cans that I said I never would.- fureshi

Any old fart head-fi'ers still around?
Dragging this thread back from the dead. For some reason I clicked on Kramer5150's Grado Mods thread and a few clicks later landed on this thread. Lots of memories and people from way back when. I remember spending hours here trying to absorb and learn as much as I could, built a few Mints...- fureshi

The Car/Motorcycle/Motorsport/Anything fast enough to do something stupid in thread!
agreed. people should be required to take a driver's ed course, advanced driving techniques class or some type of driving course before they can get their license renewed. i've seen too many stupid things and in fact, i yesterday, i almost rear ended an SUV because the lady pulled into my lane...- fureshi

Sony ex-700 Head Count:
+1 They haven't been getting much head time lately. I've mostly been using them out of my DAP but I'll have to try them with an amp to see if the highs are better controlled.- fureshi

The NIKON Thread (Talk About Nikon Stuff here)
it's a great idea to rent the lens and get some experience with it instead of plunking down the large sum that Nikon wants. the 70-300vr already looks ridiculous on my wife's D40 so i can only imagine that the 70-200vr would engulf that little camera.- fureshi

HEAD-F1 HF-2, who else have it? post your serial number here.
sorry i should've been more clear that i was referring to workmanship and what you get from the packaging/quality/etc. my point was that for $429 the quality should've been better. i'll hold judgment on the sound as they haven't been on my head for more than an hour but first impressions are...- fureshi

HEAD-F1 HF-2, who else have it? post your serial number here.
#43 with Head-F1. Having only received them today, I'm enjoying them thus far but honestly I have to say that I don't think the value is there. Having been a Grado fan since finding my way to Head-Fi, I can't say that I've ever been satisfied with their quality and workmanship. It's only...- fureshi

to each his own. i prefer the look of the mkV over the mkIV. i recently sold my mkV GTI but when i was searching for it, i had a hard time deciding between the R32 vs the GTI. in the end, the GTI made more sense to me as it was going to be a commuter car. it got better gas mileage and is not...- fureshi
