Earbuds Round-Up
Agreed the Maria II have a soundstage that is freakishly wide. While I still listen to them regularly, I can't use them for long periods of time because the they're a bit too aggressive in the upper frequencies. A really unique earbud, truly.- Sam L

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
didn't know soundpeats had an app. updating the firmware to the soundpeats air 3, which by the way sounds pretty good for a half in-ear (ala airpods) tws.- Sam L

Earbuds Round-Up
my quick take on the FF5, while I'll be keeping them, I wouldn't recommend them. For anyone considering them, I'd consider getting a bud from tgxear or riku. I only have the berserker from riku, but that is much better than the ff5 in my opinion. I have pretty much all of tgxear's offerings and...- Sam L

Earbuds Round-Up
I had one ages ago and remember that it wasn't very good at all. I can't find my snow lotus 1+ commemorative, but I seem to recall that model was better?- Sam L

Apple AirPods Pro And NEW AirPods Pro 2nd Gen (from 23 Sep 2022) - Impressions
I'd give the App 1 a score of 7.5/10 and the App 2 an 8/10. I'm not hearing substantial SQ improvement. To my ears staging and imaging (not on spatial) is lackluster for what they cost. But then I don't buy any apple wireless products for their sound quality. The APP2 are top notch in...- Sam L

interesting because the old school Bose house sound was not really warm and boomy. I'm starting to wonder if Bose has been shifting over the years. I have the qc35 qc45 and qc earphone 1. but I'm too lazy to compare.- Sam L

It's unbelievable that this goal is not commonly achieved. I bet many of us mentally organize our tws' in two buckets -- the ones that make great ohone calls and the ones that sound great. Samsung and jabra, in general, pull off a good balance between sound quality and call quality- Sam L

Earbuds Round-Up
I caught Perlman in recital just before the pandemic. One of the highlights of my concert / recital attending. Ranked right up there with my attendance of Nathan Milstein's last (or second to last?) performance before he passed on. Fantastic picture, by the way!- Sam L

CCA in ear monitors Impressions Thread
Hmm. I mainly listen to classical music but haven't really auditioned the pla13's very carefully until I read your comment. I don't normally listen to the Tchaikovsky 1, as I played nos. 4-6 so I have fond, intimate memories of those symphonies. The pla13's low end ruins faithful reproduction...- Sam L

thank you for sharing your experience. I've been eyeing those when they were announced and was wondering if anyone would be picking one up. They still aren't available in my area. I wonder when the flex is in open ear mode if it sounds similar to the tune 225?- Sam L
