From what I understand the gain doesn't affect the (non amped) line out, only the amped headphone out.

I had massive problems using it as a DAC on Windows 8 or 8.1. Simply wouldn't work or stop working after a couple of seconds. Since I upgraded my Laptop to Windows 10, the DX90 DAC functionality works like a charm.

Both works. I assume setting the Volumen to max on the dx90 - like sich line out - is best.

Did you also delete the "album art" dirs - or whatever they're called - on the SD card and internal memory before the rescan? Those won't be deleted by a factory reset.

What about the bug where, if you don't have scanned the whole sd card and enter a FLAC folder for the first time, so it's scanned. And then the Tracks are played in the wrong order. Only if you skip forward/backward/pause and play again, the tracks will be played in the correct order according...

I was able to compare them to the HD600 and the HD600 were more comfortable. Sound wise the FSP beat the HD600 in every aspect.

I have the same combination of DX90 and FSP. Which gain setting are you using? I'm usually on low gain with volumes around 215-225, depending on the loudness of the recording.

Are you using Windows 8.1? USB 3.0? I can't get it to work with this combination whilst it works perfectly fine with Windows 7 and USB 2.0 here.

Yes. Factory reset, deleted all folders but the music folders on the internal memory and sd card and rescanned the library.

Is it just me or does the tag detection of FLAC files in Lurker 2.1.5 L2 not work any more? I just see the filename and dirname instead of the tag. The album name is (null). I did a full rescan after the update. Everything was fine before the update. Tagging of the files themselves hasn't changed.

Anyone with USB3.0 only tried using a 2.0 hub between the DX90 and the PC? Does it help? I have the issue of the driver working for a couple of minutes then disappearing.

It also doesn't work with USB Storage. It's not detected at all.
