Thanks. I have actually have used the built in phonostage. Clean, detailed, and precise. May be a bit lean for some but sounds very nice. My Sutherland sounds better but if I didn’t hear it I would be very happy with the Brooklyn’s phono playback.

Plus it’s sexy in black You may also want budget for a nice linear power supply too I got a Sbooster for it. Takes it up another notch

I have the DAC +. Nice little bump from the original Brooklyn. If you have one already, keep it. Two-channel playback was so close I don't think I can hear difference. The headphone amp though is better this go around.

I can report that the headphone amp in the DAC + is much improved this go around. More control, balance, with no hint of distortion even at high levels. Sounds great using the balanced adapter

I run the Node 2 into the DAC + via toslink with no noticeable glare. Sounds extraordinary clear and wide.

Got a 6 hour playlist burning through it now. Will sit down at 10PM for an initial listen. Hope it was worth it ;)

I like the sound of the Node 2 through it rather than Tidal directly streaming from the Sonica. Maybe down to MQA vs. Sonica CD quality. Does it sound better than the HA-1, yeah but not a huge leap imo. So if I need the Node 2 in the chain I may not keep it and just get a dedicated dac like a...

I really like the E2 however I have it plugged into a Schiit Jot as the amp section was not sufficient for my needs.   I am looking now at getting a Mytek Brooklyn as my main DAC to replace my OPPO HA-1. Tidal streaming and LP's are my two committed music options now. 

Awesome amp. Just got it last night. Good size for my desktop setup. Really am enjoying the pairing with the Explorer 2 and Tidal-MQA. Fun!
