yes, at least to my ears and with my gears. EL34 are slightly more detailed, 6CA7 are more full-bodied.

@Paul - iBasso and anyone in the knows... I need to eq one of my IEM (EE EVO, really unlistenable w/o heavy eq), but I have found no way to apply a pre-gain with the Mango player inthe DX300 (fw 1.06.362), and there are sometimes very audible distorsions that disappears when I de-check the...

yes, both with EVO and MEST2. my preferred tips with EVO are the Spinfits cp145.

do you listen to hard rock / metal? btwn EVO and Jewel which do you prefer with those genres?

Since when I changed the stock FinalE tips with the Spinfit CP145 the EVO are growing on me in a really addictive way. With FinalE I found the EVO to be very good for EDM, but couldn't use them with basically anything else... too much basses (and somewhat not so much textured/defined), too...

well. it depends on the distance of the objects you see in the image. for those objects that are 4.6B LY away, then yes. but there could be some objects closer or farther and in those cases you are seeing (in the same image) what they looked like less than / more than 4.6B Y ... amazing uh...

MEST2 are the most tips-sensitive IEM I know... can change from "meh..." to "WOW!" depending on the tips... for example, for my ears and my liking, spinfit (tried almost everything from cp100 to cp500) are "meh..." while Azla sedna light short are "WOW!" that's for sure a big disadvantage if you...

depends on what you looking for... if you want a very balanced sound, the Xinhs graphene 8 core is a good all-rounder. I use it with my MEST2 and I'm very happy. more airy than the stock, with a tighter bass that extend down very well. if instead you looking for a more crispy, more detailed...

great to hear you are liking them so much :relaxed: when you have some more listening time on them, would love to read your feedback on detail level (I'm crazy for high detailed but not fatiguing IEM) and treble quality... and also of course on basses reproduction (speed/quantity) :pray:
