Chord Mojo 2 Thread ___ [product released January 31, 2022 -- starting on page 95 of thread]
Give it a shot, i can't think of a reason why coax would sound inferior to optical. In my experience over the years and many, many, many devices, i always prefer coax over optical. Coax is an electrical signal and doesn't go through any conversion before reaching the DAC unlike optical which...- vlach

Chord Mojo 2 Thread ___ [product released January 31, 2022 -- starting on page 95 of thread]
I wish people would use the adjectives below to describe SQ differences and refrain from using the ones on the second list: 1. Significant 2. Noticeable 3. Marginal 4. Splitting hairs ‐-------------------------- 1. Night & day 2. World's apart 3. Jump out of your seat 4. The second coming of...- vlach

I don't get the white color when playing DSD64 files, any idea why? I use Audirvana set to DSD, no conversion to PCM through USB.- vlach

Depends which headphone you compare it to. Is it full bodied? Not really but you can't have everything and no headphone is perfect.- vlach

I'm not surprised to hear that you prefer the HD800s + WA22 but i think it would be important to isolate the headphones from their respective chain and test them against each other on the same amp. I would be interested to know which headphone you prefer driven from the Ifi Ican Signature. If...- vlach

While you're at it, check the polarity setting, in my case i get slightly more bass impact with the reverse setting selected. Edit: ^This could vary depending which firmware you're running. I'm on 1.39- vlach

Are you running the M51 at 0dB? If so try reducing the output to -3dB or -6dB.- vlach

I really thought this was the correct pin out. Any thoughts? Edit: Not trying to connect to a DAP, trying to connect to a...- vlach

Yes, you're absolutely right in the case of the HE1k. My comment was in response to the photo showing headphones with the cups tilted upwards in the link you provided. I was just trying to point this out as a potential problem for anyone using this stand with different headphones. We're good 😊- vlach

The Woo Audio 2
You should be able to avoid the loud pops by turning on the WA2 first, followed by the power amp a few seconds later and reverse the sequence during power off; turn off the power amp first, then turn off the WA2 a few seconds later.- vlach
