my LCD-2s sound better than my Westone 3 out of my phone unamped. I haven't heard the Pro but my W3 sound a lot better than the 299$ version.

Hey guys when it comes to vintage receivers, is the headphone output affected by the WPC power? For example, will an 80WPC receiver have a better, more dynamic headphone out when compared to a 40WPC receiver from the same company?

Are the pads on the LCD-2s user replaceable? I've searched around a bit but I wasn't able to find an answer to this.

That's good. And I wasn't discrediting your build, but you're making a strong statement and from your tone in your posts, you have a pretty strong bias so obviously I'm obligated to take whatever you say with a grain of salt.
