Sennheiser IE7 @ US$ 100 ?
Interesting... I've never seen legit IE7s even close to this price, but if it's Best Buy, they're the real deal. But it looks like in-store only and I can't find any stores that have it in stock.- Cycle10s

Klipsch Image S2 and S4
Holy thread resurrection! Tippy, it sounds like what you're hearing is sibilance, which the S4 is kind of notorious for. It affects some people, while it's not a problem for others. It's never been a problem for me, but I know it's been a deal-breaker for a lot of others. I do seem to...- Cycle10s

Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 or Klipsch Image X10...any thoughts?
Maybe you've seen it already, but there was a recent thread comparing X10 to TF10: http://www.head-fi.org/t/582204/klipsch-x10-or-ue-triple-fi-10 I also bought both and decided to keep the X10 . I figured I'd sacrifice a little bit of sound quality for comfort and overall ease of use. ...- Cycle10s

Opinions on Klipsch Image S4
I agree that parts of the S4's treble are emphasized, but when I think of bright IEMs, I think of something with more of an Ety sound signature. For me, the S4's were very warm with the bass being more troublesome than the treble. IMO, they sound great on some songs, but empty and lifeless...- Cycle10s

Opinions on Klipsch Image S4

Klipsch Image X10 for $94 (usually $350)!!
Quote: I've only listened to mine for about 30 minutes, but I find them very enjoyable so far. Their sound signature is similar to the S4s (warm), but noticeably better. They are definitely not neutral. They have a lot of bass, but it is much more controlled and well-defined than...- Cycle10s

Klipsch x10 or UE Triple fi.10?
Quote: I just got my X10s and have only listened to them for 30 minutes or so. Compared to my S4's, the X10s still seem to have a lot of bass. It's much more controlled and detailed, but there is a good amount of it. I'll be interested to hear your take on the S4 vs X10 once yours arrive.- Cycle10s

Klipsch X10 vs SRH840
I'm also curious if anyone owns both of these and can compare them. I've had my eyes on the SRH840s, but picked up the X10s because they were so cheap. I'm looking for something that has great mids and a more balanced sound. It seems like the SRH840's would be much better than the X10s as...- Cycle10s

Too good to be true? Sennheiser IE7 for £36.44
I own the IE7s and did some research about fakes before I purchased mine. I seem to remember that the Y split and plug on fakes tends to be opaque grey, whereas the real ones are a translucent grey. The fakes are also missing the foam eartips.- Cycle10s

IE7 vs. TF10 round two >:E (added PFE)
The poll isn't very useful since TF10 to IE7 ownership is probably about 3 to 1. It sounds like you're leaning towards the TF10s, so you might as well just order them and see if they work for your personal taste.- Cycle10s

Sennheiser IE7 vs. UE Tri.fi 10
My IE7s definitely feel sturdier than my other IEMs, but I tend to baby them. As for sound quality, I initially ordered some TF10s, but after doing some research I decided to sell them and get the IE7s instead. It just comes down to personal preference. What steered me toward the IE7s was that I...- Cycle10s

Sennheiser IE7
Yeah, fakes are pretty common (especially on Ebay). However, you should be pretty safe if you buy from an authorized retailer listed on Sennheiser's website: http://www.sennheiserusa.com/serviceandsupport_dealer-locator_authorized-retailers- Cycle10s

Sennheiser IE7 and ebay HELP
They don't really compare. IE7 is in another league and does everything better, except for isolation (S4 is much better in isolation). I still like my S4s and don't find them hugely lacking unless I listen to them after the IE7s. What I dont like about the S4 is that the bass is too strong and...- Cycle10s

Sennheiser IE7 and ebay HELP
Claiming to be an authorized retailer on EBay doesn't mean anything. However, there are a couple legitimate authorized retailers on eBay that have been verified on Sennheiser's website. Upgrade from Klipsch Custom 3 (less than $150)
The IE7s really are great, but I don't know how well they would work for your DJing. Their isolation is pretty poor. There are some tips that can definitely increase isolation, but I'm sure most other IEMs will be better at blocking out noise.- Cycle10s

In-ear for jazz and acoustic music??
I was looking for IEMs with the exact same characteristics you want and narrowed it down to the Monster Turbine Pro Golds, IE7, and Klipsch Custom 3's. I ended up going with the IE7 and am very happy with how they pair with my jazz/acoustic library. They're warm/natural and have a great midrange.- Cycle10s

iem for relaxing (sq-wise)
IE7 I listen to similar genres as you. IE7 has wonderful mids that are detailed, forward, but still relaxed and smooth. They do wonders for vocals and acoustic guitars, but it still has strong, deep bass when it's needed.- Cycle10s
