Considering a career in Accounting, advice needed

Yeah, so. I have a Bachelors of Business, and I'd only need 30 credits in my state to sit for the CPA exam. From what I've read, my avenues are either take the upper level accounting classes as cheaply as possible (online distance learning from an accredited non-profit like LSU) or try for a...

    A "Bro-science"-Free Workout Routine?

Lyle McDonald is someone I'd classify as relatively less full of it   http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/ http://forums.lylemcdonald.com/   I'd start with the article section on the main site.

What book are you reading right now?

Put in a few chapters, pretty good so far. Although the large number of complicated South/Central American place and deity names is more than I can comprehend in a single caffeine-fueled sitting. You can read the first chapter free on the obverse website.  ...

Might go the 30 days, because I don't want to blame the fit if it's not really the fit.   Looked at the BTG site, those cables don't look all that inexpensive compared to the normal westone ones.

Don't know. When I press on the plastic, particularly the part near the where the wire exits, a clicking sound is made. (Tried both when worn and in hands) The sound also occurs if move my head quickly. The right piece's plastic doesn't do this most of the time.   If it's normal, I can live...

Took a look, appears the same, and not overly loose. At least not where the wire exits the plastic.

Nope, just the one that came with the CIEMs. I bent the plastic straight, and it's still only the left that makes the noise (repeatable). It's irritating, and I was just wondering if it's common with westone cables, else I'm gonna lose sleep.

So I've been hearing this cracking noise in my left CIEM when I move my head, and I just noticed that the noise is coming from the plastic covering the cable. I can recreate the sound by pressing on it, the right hook doesn't suffer from this. Anyone have this issue?

How do I test for channel imbalance? I swear the right side is louder/clearer, specifically vocals. I know it could just be how the music was recorded, but I've tried different headphones and sources, the C4 is affected the most pronounced. (Could be it's revealing character as well) I've read...

I do hear noise when switching tracks, and sporadically during playback. Sounds like the drive or whatever devil magic holds the content.

Kirosia has only two other headphones and he's keeping them as backups/beaters. The cable on his TP10 is about to go though (flimsy bastards), and he's not spending another $25.

My audiologist probably won't charge me for impressions, so I'm guessing up to $100ish to ship there and back. I think I'm beginning to adapt to the fit, it gets better and worse each time I put them on. The C4s are less noticeable in my ears than the Triple.Fi 10s, but the latter feels more...

Eve, I don't actually have any notable issues with the sound. (Well the right is bit clearer, but all my headphones/sources do that, so common denominator...) I apologize if I came off that way. I'm crazy regardless, we all know that.   I also planned for a potential refit, using the cash...

I'm just trying to get a handle on whether it's my elevated paranoia or that the fit is actually off. I'm thinking a bit of both right now.

Personal preference, I don't directly correlate love of high fidelity with a personality I'd care to spend time with. It is a valid check off a very long and awkward list, but so is "imbibes coffee to expulsion".

I keep numerous nickel sacks at hand for the inevitable zombie uprising. I'm hoping that I get used to it enough to not need a refit.   I did see a prominent (hairline?) scratch on the face of the right ear piece. I know such things are expected, and I can never know when or how it occurred...

My 1st, though I've universal IEMs, and my ears are definitely... odd. Left canal is narrower but long, right is wider but shallow. Makes everything very uncomfortable and confusing.   EDIT: IF I jog, I can feel the left piece's canal portion bouncing up and down with ease. Normal?

Came back from audiologist. He says they both appear acceptable, though he can understand why I'd consider the left piece a bit loose. We did a new impression for the left, and he recommends giving it a few days before making a decision whether to send them in.   EDIT: Now I'm wondering if...

In regards to fit, how are they supposed to feel? My left piece appears too loose, and will break seal if I tilt my head back too much (I.e. 45 degrees). Touching the cable protruding from that piece also causes it to almost pop out. But it could be that the right piece is just overly tight...

Audiologist says I can bring them in tomorrow, awesome. Maybe I'm overly paranoid and my ears are just crap shape-wise. The C4s sound-wise, seem to meet my expectations.  Bowie's "Space Oddity" and Gin Blossoms' "Til I Hear it From You" were great.
