Bowers & Wilkins P7 or Sennheiser Momentum
Thanks for the feedback, I'm very thankful! I've been doing a lot of research lately, and I decided to go for the HP50s. The sound is fantastic, but I have some comfort issues. They are kinda shallow, so my ears are squeezed slightly, which causes some aching over long time sessions. Also it...- commodent

Review by 'commodent' on item 'NAD Electronics VISO HP50 Noise-Isolating Over-Ear Headphones'
These headphones sound extremely well for the price range, but they might get uncomfortable over time depending on your head/ears. When I use them I feel the pressure coming from the top of the of the pads, and on the bottom they are not properly sealed. My ears also stick out a little bit, so...- commodent

Bowers & Wilkins P7 or Sennheiser Momentum
Okay, but will I hear very big improvement in sound when I upgrade to B&W P7, or is it just a matter of details at this price range?- commodent

Bowers & Wilkins P7 or Sennheiser Momentum
Now I'm using the Audio-Technica ATH M50, and I mainly listen to electronic music. I've had them for over three years, and I thought it was a nice time for an upgrade- commodent

Bowers & Wilkins P7 or Sennheiser Momentum
Yes, I'm talking about over-ear. I see I can get the NAD Viso HP50 for $231, which I guess is a fairly good deal? No, I have no possibility to test the headphones, as I live in a pretty small town.- commodent

Bowers & Wilkins P7 or Sennheiser Momentum
Hi, I'm having a hard time deciding between these two headphones, and thought I could seek you for advice. Here in my country the Sennheiser Momentums cost $270 / £173 / €221 while the Bowers & Wilkins P7 cost $408 / £261 / €334. I therefore wonder which can would give most bang for the...- commodent

@Zalithian I don't think it's smart to compare these with the power hungry headphones HD600 and HE-400 to explain the significance of amp, because, you know, they need more power. @willyvlyminck I'm not expecting it to be twice as good, only worth the £100 more it costs, made in China or not...- commodent

Source is probably not the problem, as the computer got the newest Realtek audio chip and I'm listening to 320 kbps on Spotify. The box even states that these are "made for ipod, ipad, iphone", and then I atleast expect it will sound good on my iPad. Amp should not be required as these are...- commodent

Philips Fidelio X1 or Sennheiser Momentum?
Yeah, when they are "made for" iDevices it would be nice that they actually sounded good on them. It's not a must that they are closed, but I want it to not leak so extremely much as I have other people living in this house, too. I do not want any big DAC/Amp, as I love sitting on the living...- commodent

Philips Fidelio X1 or Sennheiser Momentum?
Thanks for answering. Got my Momentums today, and surprisingly they fitted around my ear. What surprised me most was although how average they sounded. They sounded just like my ATH-M50s, which are much cheaper. I am going to take a look at HD600. Do you think FiiO E07K Andes will deliver...- commodent

Sennheiser Momentum impressions thread
Are these good for home use? I'm using my headphones about 90% at home and 10% outside (maybe less). I have no DAC/amp and have no plans buying one, so are these headphones a good choice for me? Does the Momentums feel uncomfortable after long-time sessions although the ears don't fit...- commodent

Philips Fidelio X1 or Sennheiser Momentum?
Doesn't work editing post so sorry for double post. I think I'll just go for Sennheiser Momentum and return them if they don't fit my ears, but I'm not sure. Would be nice if someone could suggest a pair of headphones that is not as open as X1 and not as compact as Momentum.- commodent

Do I need sound card for ATH-M50?
Hi, I have a pair Audio-Technica ATH-M50 and on my PC I am using the integrated sound on my mobo, Realtek ALC898. I think the sound quality is a little dull with lack of bass, but I'm nut entirely sure. I'm just wondering if a dedicated sound card would be better compared to the ALC898 codec...- commodent
