What is the endgame in the flat realm ? What about a flat response headphone ranking ? What about a club or something ?
I am surprised no one mentioned dt880 when talking about flat fr Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- zkkzkk32312

you are probably right, its only for those who need more bass, personally i prefer my un modded Q701's sound over my Annie. Annies are too bassy for me, but comfort wise Annie and K712 is king.- zkkzkk32312

you can also do the bass port mod plus changing it to the anni's pads, i think that will give you about 5db boost in bass.- zkkzkk32312

mrk you mind show us which blade you use to cut out those bumps? and you said you might replace the entire headband because it is still giving you comfort issues? my Q701 has been on a clamp release post and so far it shows no sign of clamping less. so those 0.5cm bump needs to be gone for sure.- zkkzkk32312

Good job man, so you cut out the middle bumps and covered them with a piece of leather? looks really good man. might have to do the same thing although i am not very confident about my skill on covering the leather piece.- zkkzkk32312

that's like saying less material cost more... price drop on the Q701 might simply because it has been released for so long and now they are MIC.- zkkzkk32312

really want to try flipping the stock headband upside down. but it looks like it will required a separate screwing units to go through the holes once you take them off. sort of like a permanent damage too because of the need of new screws.- zkkzkk32312

Comfort Wise I will go for the 702.65. But if you are able to get Q701 for around 150 USD I will also recommend it. However if you do get the Q701 and wanted to do something to the annoying headband, you will be exactly the same shoe as i am right now. sound wise they are almost the same...- zkkzkk32312

yeah you are right, but since those bump already shorten max extension i would prefer a fix that will increase max extension and minimize clamp. really wish Q701 can be just as comfy as my Anni, because i prefer the sound of my Q701 than the Anni's. So does flipping the headband inside...- zkkzkk32312

however the bump itself is already limiting the size of big heads compare to my Anni. I have absolutely no issue with my annie's comfort and the Q701 only fits my head when its all the way extended and hence the strong clamp force.- zkkzkk32312

there's something else that cannot be fix through methods like this, especially If you have a larger head, covering the bumps will further increase clamp force. but i guess that is not a problem for people with small head.- zkkzkk32312

Soymilk was the knifing difficult at all? the only reason i thought of just flip the headband was to not do any permanent damage. but now i am almost convinced that might be harder to just cut out the bumps.- zkkzkk32312

Got my Q701 for a week now thanks to [Mod Edit: Nice try, but no.], since I already owned an annie, the discomfort of the Q701 got my attention right away. Has anything try to flip the headband of the Q701 so that the bumpers are not against your head? Is this a perm solution? saw too...- zkkzkk32312
