So I have been running my GH2s louder today than I typically am used to these days, and that really opens them up. I just lost 2 hours. :D- zerolight

I'm going to save my pads for winter. They are too warm for me right now. The stock pads actually sound fine and I don't have any comfort issues with them.- zerolight

I bought one of these 1.5m long that seems good quality. https://www.qed.co.uk/performance-6-35mm-headphone-extension.html- zerolight

I've swapped the foams back to the black open foam pads inside the BA hybrids in the GH2 and am finding this to be a nice middle ground between the stock Grado foam and the white foam inside the BA. Seems to bring a bit of warmth to the mids without bloating the bass too much. It's a close call...- zerolight

I'm going from memory on the RS2x. But I spent a lot of time on the stock pads, then the BAs with both foam types. Some tracks sound best with the stock pads, some improve with the BA pads. The BA pads add comfort, and work with a broader range, the stock pads can be a little splashy on poorer...- zerolight

I don't currently have my RS2x so I am going from memory. I do have the 880 Edition with me at the moment. The GH2 are super clear, and I think I prefer the sound of the GH2 with the BA pads, but I just like a little bit more mids, especially with guitars. The super clarity the GH2 has takes a...- zerolight

The GH2 arrived, complete with a nice pair of BA pads. However, for me, I preferred the sound of the RS2x. Hoping these find a new home in the UK via the classifieds if anyone is interested.- zerolight

I have a pair of lovely Grado GH2 headphones that I recently purchased on eBay. They are in excellent condition, come with the stock pads (which seemingly were never used) and a pair of Beautiful Audio Leather/Merino pads with both foam types. These are really nice, but I prefer my non-Grado...- zerolight

Well, I've just ordered a GH2 on ebay. Comes with stock pads and BA Leather / Merino pads. The stock pads are apparently unused, so I will probably start there. Fingers crossed I love it. :D- zerolight

What did you think of the RS2x vs RS1x vs GH2. I'm torn between these three.- zerolight

So a few months ago I was debating headphones and talked here about either the SR325x or the RS2x. I was buying for multi-use, recording my guitar through a Fractal amp modeller, and for listening to music. I enjoyed the RS2x for my rock collection (as I had with my RS1i a decade ago) but it...- zerolight

Well I remember enjoying the RS1i when I owned them. Certainly I'd always wonder about the RS2x if I don't hear them. Rather test the RS2x before committing to the 325x.- zerolight
