I confirm what someone said earlier in the thread, MUC-S12SB1 is a game changer on the MV1, at least to my ears. And I'm not a big cable-miracles believer, but this is distinctive with that combo; as good as the original cable is, the Kimber brings noticeable enhancement all around.

I reported that bug to @FiiO long ago, so far no fix has been coming.

Have you tried if it does the same using something other than Fiio Music? Neutron, UAPP, etc.

For me this only happens when relays are switching, i.e. when starting to play DSD while I'm playing 44/16 (or any PCM combination) or vice versa, or when you're playing at one sampling rate and start playing something at another sampling rate. Otherwise it's not the case.

That, or maybe a shortage of some components or parts, reserve them now for the Japanese market?

At the moment the FAudio white ones (large), I think they're here to stay. Perfect for wearing, sealing and sound to my ears.

That too obviously, but with the right tips I'm yet to encounter any sibilance or etc., even with notoriously bright or splashy recordings that were mastered with the left foot.

Also depends a lot on the tips being used. With some treble can be a bit sizzling.

That's interesting, because personally they're the most comfy IEMs I've worn. Over the weekend I've worn them for like 7-8 hours straight, both days, without any discomfort.

Stated earlier in the thread. But it's very recently manufactured I'd say, since when I wanted to get them like 3 weeks ago from E-Earphone, they were out of stock, and end of last week they had new stock which is when I ordered.

Mine sporting the Zedna MAX snap perfectly, as with the Sony eartips.
