Thanks. Decided to try P2P since it seemed simple enough. I have another question though. Would any 7 pin tube socket work for the starving student? The parts list says SKT 7 M1, and i'm not sure what the M1 means. Also, what tubes should i use? Would the 19J6 be a good start?

I think you should go for the RE0's as well. I have the REZEROs and they sound pretty good overall. But one thing with the RE0 is that i hear people saying one of the channels stops working. My friend bought one, and one of his channels stopped working the day he got it.(Forgot which channel)...
