I have monolith m1060 but you can get the closed version. Runs about 250 brand new and or you can get them used for less. I also have the d2000 which a little bright for me at high volume.

I have the m1060 open and they are the same. There has to be some sacrifice at that price point. I do still love them though

You really can't go wrong with planars.
