2015 Seattle Redhook Meet impressions
@BobFiggins I guess you really do like the multiple of 4 driver setup. I'm surprised there is no 8-drivers adel. It should have even better sub-bass. How much did the A4 cost you? I tried to open 1964ears website but it seems like they haven't updated their online catalog- xtroria

cables are placebo
Yes, very true. I dont want to be a dick but What did the majority people in head-fi have as their major? Can't they comprehend simple science? You certainly don't need doctorate degree to understand simple graphs etc etc- xtroria

Since you asked, sure why not. I just finished my soph. year after taking DIff EQ and Matrix Algebra as the 2 last math classes I took. Moving to U of Minnesota this fall with CompE major. What's your background? Rather than trying to explain something that you'll just deny, show me the...- xtroria

cables are placebo
Here's my question, did you change your own cable or your friend changed the cable? Knowing which cable is which isn't all that hard since you can feel the interconnects. Blind test means someone else is doing the switch, without you knowing what cable was used or if the cable was changed...- xtroria

Well using an amp with impedance less than 1 ohm is probably still recommended. Btw, this is a bit sidetracking but do you know headphone stores in singapore that i should visit? I'm looking for HE560, HD800 and noble K10 to test around (or at least for my old man )- xtroria

Science is trying to define everything as black or white, right or wrong. Many people who are very scientific don't care about what other people think, we speak the truth, hypotheses that were proven over many experiments that became facts. Condescending attitude is pretty common in...- xtroria

Tyll from innerfidelity had already conducted the test and made the conclusion that it doesn't make any change. Why would stax put normal copper cable on the SR-009 if pure silver cable makes a difference on how the headphone will sound? They could simply make $1000 silver cable, charge...- xtroria

Headphone & Amp Impedance Questions? Find the answers here!
I'm not an expert at this topic, so there might be some mistakes in my explaination. Basically, output impedance acts like a resistor, connected in series to your transducer (iem / headphone / speaker). Now when resistor is connected in series, the bigger resistance will take up more...- xtroria
