    Looking for >$100 Neutral IEMs

Thanks, I'll look into that.     I've seen the list and i've consulted it already. I haven't been keeping up with new IEMs in the recent years so I figured I'm probably missing a few IEMs with these requirements. Thanks for the advice, though!

    Looking for >$100 Neutral IEMs

As the title says, I'm looking for IEMs with a neutral, or as close to neutral, sound signature. The IEMs must NOT go around the ear like the Shure and Westone IEMs (forgot the term for this). The price must be >$100 but I'm willing to increase it a bit depending on the situation.  I've...

    Aurisonics ROCKETS: Impressions Thread

If anyone who has heard both the Rockets and the Noble 4s, do you mind comparing the two? I've been looking for something with the clarity and neutrality of the N4, with a very slight boost in the bass and non-over the ear wear. The Rockets seem to fit the bill but a comparison would really help.

The Deals DISCUSSION Thread (READ THE FIRST POST!!!)

I had that login problem myself. I'm not sure how I fixed it. Must've changed my password 5 or so times before it stopped being faulty.

    Audinst-HUD-MX2 DAC/Amp

Should be able to run off of USB power. Maybe the connection cuts out? Problems with the USB cable or maybe either/both ports? I ran off of USB power for months with no problem other than the lack of volume for my cans. Power from socket made a world of difference, perhaps on sound quality as...

Sure, let's go with "study", read as: "Still got my N4 in my ears and no one can get em out"

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

I didn't know the screws were that much of a hassle but know they're appreciated. Only real complaint I have is the stress relief on the cable. I'll probably add some sort of heatshrink tubing to it.  Welp. All this Noble talk has tempted me to use my N4. Unfortunately, I find it hard to...

FWIW I really don't notice any imperfections on mine. Yes, it's visible where the housing meets the faceplate but is that really an imperfection? Hardly matters to me and I think it would be unfair to expect it to be seamless. I think the screws are a very nice aesthetic touch.

Legitimate point but I'm sure other members will respond to your question as well so just wait a while. As for the build quality.  The plastic doesn't feel cheap to me. It feels quite sturdy actually and holds up to a fair bit of gripping force- I'll come back to that in a bit. I've had...

    The JVC HA-S500 thread.

I think I may be cute's S500 pair's last owner. This is definitely a keeper. I am very impressed with the sound. I can finally have good sound as I work.  Something feels off though and I think its the fit. It's near impossible for me to go through hundreds of pages but if anyone has found a...

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

I was thinking of getting the X-Star DP2710? Same Samsung panel as the Monex? I feel more comfortable posting here, albeit unrelated, than in other forums. Glad to see this discussion sparked up. Helpful for a newbie like me. Sorry for the thread-jacking. I've read ravings of the...

Gonna buy me a cheap Korean monitor.  Quiet jealous of your monitor, though.

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

After my current project which is to build a computer i'll be saving up for a K10. I've got the N4 to keep me very, very happy till then.

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

Selling my W4r because of my N4. Recent comments are making me want to buy the K10. I have no business owning such high-end equipment at this age. No money, too, for that matter.
