MEE Audio Pinnacle P1 - $199 Dynamic Driver Flagship *Reviews 2nd Post*
Both utilizes MMCX connection but it's closer to Shure's fit. Be sure to try out the Fiio replacement cable first as it's pretty microphonic.- xaddictionx

Westone Signature W-series W50 & W60
I own both UM Pro 50 and W60 as well. Just like you, i found the UM Pro 50 to sound more engaging and lively. Perhaps it's suited more for live performances. Both have a very different sound signature with W60 leaning towards the balanced side slightly north of neutral. I do find W60 having a...- xaddictionx

Westone UM PRO Series Thread
Thanks for giving more insights to the new product! With the new UM line, will the UM Pro series be discontinued? Is the sound signature of the new UM totally different from the UM Pro series? Looking forward to your new release! Hopefully it does entails a new epic cable. The old cable that...- xaddictionx

Westone W80
Agree with your point. Had 2 cables from them having the same problem as well. Not heavily utilized and well kept but both was hit with problems with both termination and pins end. IMO, the sound is pretty good from those cables but built quality takes a hit..- xaddictionx

Westone W60 Impressions Thread
The bass on both W50 and W60 is quite different from SE846. I have the W60 and SE846 side by side with me and i do hear W60 having more bass in terms of quantity. W60 hits harder in mid bass region whilst SE846 focus primarily on sub bass. The W60 and SE846 actually complements each other really...- xaddictionx

Westone W60 Impressions Thread
Sound signatures wise they're definitely worlds apart. IE800 forte lies in its voluptuous sub bass coupled with great details attributing to it's brighter signature and "sharper"/energized treble range. Vocals wise it's not as lush and smooth compared to Westone offerings. W60 attributes...- xaddictionx

Aurisonics AS/ASG-1 Plus Information and Discussions
I would say the 1+ is a better bet. Westone 4R no doubt is a great sounding product but it does show signs of aging. 1+ has better clarity than 4R and both are pretty mid centric with 1+ sounding better in vocals. Soundstage wise both are about on par. With the better clarity, I would go for 1+.- xaddictionx

MEE Audio Pinnacle P1 - $199 Dynamic Driver Flagship *Reviews 2nd Post*
Hmm I guess you're posting in this thread you're asking about the matching of P1 with DP-X1? I've tried the matching both single ended and balanced out of DP-X1 and he result IMHO, is rather underwhelming. It lacks the dynamism.- xaddictionx

MEE Audio Pinnacle P1 - $199 Dynamic Driver Flagship *Reviews 2nd Post*
I would say the P1 and SE846 sound very different then similar. SE846 main partake is in the mids register. With a distinct upfront vocal characteristics that's full of emotions and sweet warmth. Making vocals sound so real that you're positioning yourself right in front of a live concert. P1...- xaddictionx

[REVIEW] Aurisonics ASG-2 & 2.5 (with many comparisons)
Personal preference I preferred the ASG2 too. ASG2.5 sounded much more restrain with a tamed high. Bass ports doesn't do much good too. Even coupled with silver cables such as silver dragon, the sound doesn't strike an energetic balance. Bass ports closed, it does punch with more authority and...- xaddictionx
