iFi audio ZEN DAC - EISA Award Winner 'Best Value DAC 2020-21!

What do you mean that "zendac doesnt't support raspberry stremaers"? I am using my Zen Dac v1 under RPi4 on piCorePlayer, and I was using it without any problems under OpenMediaVault/Docker custom machine.

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android

Hello. Any advice for the poor quality of now playing cover arts while using the DLNA browser? I have checked the BubbleUPnP and the quality is normal there.

Thank you. Doesn't you have any problems like described by me on these settings? Which firmware version do you running on your Zen Dac?

iFi audio ZEN DAC - EISA Award Winner 'Best Value DAC 2020-21!

Would you be so kind to share your settings? Are you using V1/V2, on which firmware? I am asking about this because I am facing an issue with the begining of the track cutted off when the sample rate is changed from eg. 44,1 kHz to 96 kHz. Are you facing this kind of issue too? My current...

iFi audio ZEN DAC - EISA Award Winner 'Best Value DAC 2020-21!

Hi. I was asking about this on the Facebook group, unfortunately without the answers. Is the Dac v1 supposed to enter standby mode (blue light) for specific circumstances? Is it managed by Dac firmware or computer itself? I know that drives for Linux are not supported but I am trying to achieve...

Great headphone sound? It’s in the CAN! iFi audio ZEN CAN!

Thanks @Lalerfy. The speakers arrived and I have checked it with my hifiman balanced cable. Cable has two mono 3,5 mm jacks for each cup, so I have installed two stereo adapters from 3,5 mm to 6,3 mm. When the speakers are connected to the rear balanced output (designed for external speakers or...

Great headphone sound? It’s in the CAN! iFi audio ZEN CAN!

Hello @iFi audio and all of you :) I have an question about rear balanced output of Zen Can. As the author of thread wrote on the first post: I am thinking about buying Presonus Eris 3.5 active speakers set which are equipped with balanced TRS input - L and R using 6,3 mm jacks. I believe I...

iFi Zen Dac / Lotoo Paw S1 + OpenMediaVault machine (Intel NUC) + ALSA audio + LMS $ Squeezelite (and Airsonic) - can't get it to work

Hello, Are there any users familiar with Debian based Linux system and ALSA audio? I need an advice how to properly configure my system to use it as a Logitech Media Server with Squeezebox to locally play music stored on it to the connected DAC. My Debian system is OpenMediaVault 5 on Intel...

iFi audio ZEN DAC - EISA Award Winner 'Best Value DAC 2020-21!

I am curious how this guy used it and it still works. Or maybe I do not know everything about it. But looks like DAC is working properly. I will check it with brick used for Can. Yeah, Dac works quite well with USB only. Unfortunately the USB port which I am using is always powered on, so...

iFi audio ZEN DAC - EISA Award Winner 'Best Value DAC 2020-21!

So I bought Zen Dac V1 with iPower 12V. The previous owner told me that he used both without problems. Is it really safe to use Zen Dac (or/and Can) with iPower, but 12 V version? Right now I am using regular 5V/2A output / 0.5A input power brick with my Can.

iFi audio ZEN DAC - EISA Award Winner 'Best Value DAC 2020-21!

I've checked it for you. Rear balanced output is variable, work simultaneously with front outputs, all features of Zen are working with it (volume control, gain, xbass, 3d), but output is way quieter than front - I've compared front single ended on custom cable to Sundara, and rear balanced also...

iFi audio ZEN DAC - EISA Award Winner 'Best Value DAC 2020-21!

Okay, thank you. So I "stuck" with the CAN front 3,5 single output :) Or with the 3,5 mm audio splitter plugged to the monitor with one side to the speakers directly and second one to the CAN (for Xbox audio amplification for headphones). Thanks.

iFi audio ZEN DAC - EISA Award Winner 'Best Value DAC 2020-21!

The problem is that I have one "analog source" - my monitor with 3,5 mm single output. Two devices are connected to monitor: console (xbox) and pc. I am able to play music from my PC using digital output (via Lotoo Paw S1 connected directly to PC) or built in 3,5 mm single ended output (from...

Yes. By "analog source" I meant source plugged to rear 3,5 mm (or RCA) input of ZEN CAN. Sorry, didn't know about this (I am not fully familiar with English audio nomenclature).
