Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Yes SQ definitely the end game for me. I'd sacrifice most other functionality save them being wireless of course! Additionally trying to minimise the amount of devices/iem's is important also and avoiding the new toy novelty thing. I've seen a very reasonably priced BT wire (KZ atpx HD) that...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

This tech, if or once good enough would surely make all TWS iem's obsolete.. or maybe not as they are another line of products to fetishize lol What's the current concensous over sq when comparing these BT adapter modules/wires vs TWS iem's?

Ah well that's good to hear. I have some Symbio tips that fit very well. How easy are they 'amped' via your device? Loud enough?

I was about to pull the trigger on a pair of FiiL t1x after reading Scarbir's piece and a few good things on this thread when @d3myz mentioned they're quite cool sounding and a little thin in comparison to a few other budget tws. I returned a pair of Cambridge Melomania 1s due to them sounding...

Yes good idea! I shall try that right away as there are definitely fibre strands within the material. I've got all the time in the world and I'll pick it apart strand by strand if i have to. 👍🏻

Yes I think this might be the only option, by the looks of it the filters are all identical the only difference being the cotton wool type thin material covering the hole in the Blue and silver. Red is completely open. Scraping away some of it from the blue perhaps to thin it out.. maybe...

Help needed!!! I've lost one of my silver rear filters for the Ninetails. 😩 I've spent a week turning the house upside down and retracing steps. I've also spent a considerable amount of time scouring the web to see if I could buy them separately, with no luck 😢 I cant even look at them now...

I’ve recently received the Nine Tails as per a few posts back yonder in the thread. Rather than just give my thoughts here, I think I’m going to add to the official review thread, when I get the chance. Only because in the Nt I feel I’ve received manna from the audio gods heaven.

A very resourceful solution! Great idea! I shall definitely being doing this. Looks like the same tape I used to repair some copper pipes at my home. I think usually rubber washers or small pieces of rubber placed at the bottom of the threaded bore are incorporated for alloy on alloy screwed...

I've just ordered the Ninetails, got quite a good deal from an audio shop in London via ebay for £55. Opened box, tested but never used. I think they were the only pair for sale in the UK. Looking forward to testing them out next week.

Like your review a very erudite and detailed comparison. You had me reaching for my wallet and the Nine tails until that last paragraph. I think I would actually prefer less choice!! In all seriousness I think I’ll give the Nt a go, coming from a v shaped, fairly dark sounding pair of cans...

I've just been introduced to the world of 'Chi-Fi' by @baskingshark , a world I never knew existed! I always assumed the lower end Chinese market only went as far as supplying ebay £$3 earphones. Which suits me fine as I've never been bothered about brand names, only the sound (and build...

Sony budget earphone discussion thread (MH750, MH755, MH1C, EX300, etc)

@Johnny2R I have the Inairs Air1 and they fit fine. They certainly do enhance the bass but to the slight detriment of the other frequencies. There is a bit of a masking effect as with all foam tips. If you’re a big bass head then it’s more than likely a worthwhile trade off as they do sound...

Official Sony WF-1000XM3 Thread - Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earphones

Interesting.. the TripleComfort tips you refer to are these part foam, like a hybrid type tip? Better isolation with these? I’m very interested to see what the Comply foam tips are like with these in combination with the ANC and whether this combination would reach over ear xm3 levels of noise...
