Sennheiser introduces the Momentum 3
I got mine to turn off. I was pressing the correct button, but maybe not doing it right? Whatever, I'm happy now.- wolfmath

Sennheiser introduces the Momentum 3
My issue right now is that when I'm sitting at my desk at work I want to listen through the cable so I don't use too much battery. I can't figure out how to open them without turning them on. I'm following the instructions as stated here in the documentation, but they still turn on.- wolfmath

Sennheiser introduces the Momentum 3
I haven't had this issue that you and others are having. I find the smart pause to be working perfectly, much better than I had thought it would This is a little annoying. The manual says that they go into suspend when they're around your neck. So they're on, but not using too much battery.- wolfmath

Sennheiser introduces the Momentum 3
I just got my pair and they're absolutely wonderful. But yeah, the case is garbage. There's tons of empty space in it even when the headphones are in it and it's not particularly protective. Fortunately my backpack has a protective pocket that fits them really well.- wolfmath

Crack;Bottlehead OTL
I'm having a little difficulty with my Crack. I've built it just fine, and it sounds awesome with my HD 650's. I am however having issues with the volume, and channel imbalance. Not a big problem, it's addressed in the Crack FAQ (I love the rhyme btw); it's numbers 3 and 4. I just don't...- wolfmath

CD player
Thanks for looking! I think the next best would be if it was 220 only. And just to be clear, I'm not looking for a compact stereo, just the single component.- wolfmath

CD player
I'm looking for a CD player with very specific features. Optical Out (not necessary if it's got a good on-board DAC) Compact design in width (12" wide or narrower. I think standard width is 17") Ability to switch 120V to 220 V Under $300 (I can be a little loose with this) Something like this...- wolfmath

CD Player with Digital Out
I've been looking for a CD player with digital output, preferably SPDIF/optical. I would like to be able to play CDs, but go through the good DAC that I already own. Does something like this exist, and is it affordable?- wolfmath

Crack;Bottlehead OTL
I just finished building my Crack and it sounds awesome with my HD 650's! I'll be attaching the Speedball soon, but I think I'll wait on that. One issue that I've noticed is that the volume is very unbalanced at low levels. Does anybody else have that problem, or is that just my unit? I'm...- wolfmath

Philips Fidelio X2?!
The grain is the only reason why I'm thinking about getting rid of them. I'll take them off in favor of the HD650's definition, then take the 650's off in favor of the X2's soundstage/bass. Perhaps I'm doomed to own both.- wolfmath

Aune T1 USB Tube DAC+ SS Amp Discussion Thread ***See first post for FAQ--Updated on 02/14/15***
I found the review! Headfonia was reviewing the Modi/ Magni from the point of view of the T1 (seems kinda weird to me since the T1 isn't as main stream). http://www.headfonia.com/schitty-magni-and-modi/2/ "The Aune T1 DAC/amp sounds almost identically the same but due to tube...- wolfmath
